Scriptural Proof That Christ is the Savior of The World
Sometimes the best way to make a point is to just give scripture after scripture. But is that enough? The bible says that Christ is the savior of the world. Can this be proven? No. Not to the secular world, anyway. It's just in the bible. It is said over and over and over, yet the churches always add that little two letter word "if". They show all of these contingencies for being saved and quote scriptures that speak of destruction, fire and wrath as if they represent a permanant condition. They parrot "he who does this blah, blah, but he who does this blah de blah, blah, blah". So this outer darkness that the bible speaks of is a permanant condition? It's not!! Now, I'll show in another hub why eternal and forever are not scriptural. But here, I just want to show that the bible really does teach universal salvation. There will be very little dialogue on my part as I don't want to claim any notion of expertise.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him Who has subjected the same in hope. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
That unto me Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall swear.
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
When Thy JUDGMENTS are in the earth, the inhabitants of the WORLD WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS. (that means everybody)
Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
. . . for we have heard Him ourselves and know that this is truly the Christ, the Savior of the world.
And, I, if I be lifted up out of the earth, will draw, all, unto myself.
Because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall (the) many be made righteous.
And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, “There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
For God has shut up all in unbelief, so that He might show mercy to all.
1 Cor. 3:15
If anyone’s work shall be burned up, he will forfeit it, yet he shall be saved, yet thus, as through fire
1 Cor 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Cor 15 21-22
For since death is through a man, the resurrection of the dead also is through a Man. 22 or as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive.
2 Cor 5:18-19
And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us.
And, through him, fully to reconcile all things unto Him, making peace through the blood of His cross. . .
1 Tim 2:4
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior: Who will (thelo) have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (Thelemo means desire)
Commentary on thelo:
II Thes. 3:10
“If any would (thelo) not work, neither should he eat”
Gee Paul, I don’t desire to work but I do anyway. Does this mean that I should not eat? No, thelo means will and not desire. (Would it even matter if God merrily desired to save all?)
1 Tim. 2:3-6
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus who gave Himself a ransom for ALL to be testified in due time.
1 Tim 4:10
For to this we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Preserver of all men, specially (first) of those who believe.
For the Grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
2 Pet 3:9
The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any of us should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1 John 2:2
And, he, is, a propitiation, concerning our sins, --and, not concerning our own only, but, also concerning those of the whole world
1 John 4-14
And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
And other sheep (the goats) I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd (possibly speaking of the lost)
“I must work the works of Him that sent me”. . .
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth. When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal (eionian) life believed.
For the creature was made subject to vanity not willingly, but by reason of Him Who hath subjected the same in hope. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain until now.
Surely, He Who spares not His own Son, but gives Him up for us all, how shall He not, together with Him, also, be graciously granting us all?
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the Waters cover the sea.
1 Tim. 1:15
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things (the crooked serpent?) straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
Isa. 52:7 and 10
. . . and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God
(So, what about God’s will to save all mankind?)
So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My Mouth, it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then you (Jerusalem) shall return to your former estate. (Sodom’s former estate was not in hell, was it?)
That in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, even in Him
Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ’s in His presence; thereafter the consummation (end) . . .
II Cor. 15:24
Then comes the end . . .
. . . and the feast of ingathering of the Fall Harvest, which is in the end
In the last day, that Great Day of The Feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water.
Mark 7:7 and 9
Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. . .Full well you reject the commandments of God, that you may keep your own tradition.
When He had by Himself purged our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (See Mark 16:19 and Acts. 2:34 and 35
Fulfills prophecy-Psalm 110:1
The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.
I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart.
. . . I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
. . . for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting (olam) life, and some to everlasting (olam) contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever (Olam of the Olam). But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Again, this speaks of the elect bringing the many to righteousness during the aions or olams.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (If your family and friends are burning in some fabled hell then there will be no comfort)
What did Christ say concerning the lost?
Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. (So in other words, everybody will go into the kingdom eventually.)
So now's the time for churchaholics to tell me about context and to read the scriptures surrounding those above.
OK, why don't you save my time so that I don't have to do this for the umpteenth time. Show me a scripture that puts these scriptures into an appropriate context where eternal hell fire can coexist. Oh but Jesus said this and that about hell. . . . . .No He didn't. I'll get to that later. Right now I'm calling out all those on Hubpages and beyond to show me why these scriptures don't mean what they say. If you can't do it then perhaps you should meditate on these truths and beg God for understanding.

It has come to my attention that most Christians are not interested in sound reasons for why their eternal hell fire doctrine is unscriptural. Believe me, I am not ignorant of this. They are quite comfortable believing...
