Faith Driven Ford
Faith Driven Ford by Robert Mayhew
What a long hard drive it’s been
At least I’m feelin alive again
Through that valley and over that hill
I’ll never gather any moss cause I can’t stay still
The road to Hell is wide I’m told
But the streets of Heaven are paved in gold
The streets in Heaven are paved in gold, so I’m told ,yes so I’m told
I’m coming up to the crossroads now
Unfolding the map to find a way to go
My sense of direction is failing me somehow
So I keep a movin forward goin real slow
Hell is to the left and Heaven to the right
I’m feelin stuck in traffic and don’t see a light
So onward I travel with no more exits in sight
Till this day surrenders and the victor is night
I keep on movin with no relief in my sight
Till this day is over and its into the night
The day is over and dim is my sight, yes dim is my sight
What I can’t see leaves questions inside
I’m not sure what I feel and don’t know what to do
But if I keep my faith I know I’ll finish this ride
Cause there’s only so much road to run and then I’m through
Going to finish this trip remembering what I heard
Keepin my faith while drivin this Ford
And my faith is not blind cause I read from his word
I’m keepin my faith and lovin the LORD
Yeah I’m drivin in faith ridin in this Ford
Yes from the east to the west to get to my LORD
And I’ll get there one day in my faith driven Ford
Yes I’ll get there one day through my faith in the LORD
Yes I’ll finish this humans race in my faith driven Ford
