Stay Connected-Sista' Devotions 365: When Life Seems Too Hectic To Stay Connected

Stay Connected!

Day 1

In today's world, more often than not, we find our time stretched so thin that we forget about what should be our primary responsibility...maintaining a relationship with God. The career we have, the domestic duties, the care of our children and attendance to our mates fills our days and nights so much so that we can't find time to communicate with the Father. “Finding” time is not the goal, for you will never “find” it if the truth be told. Making the time should be the goal because, as you make time for Him, he will make your life have more time for Him. The hectic processes of each day will become less hectic. Your stress factors will diminish because you will be casting all of your cares upon Him and letting Him care for you and yours instead of carrying that huge weight that life's responsibilities yield. Make the time, starting today, to connect with the Lord. A special message or blessing may be made available if you do... He's waiting!

Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Prayer: Lord, please forgive me for ignoring you and placing everyone and everything else before you. I have been abundantly blessed and I should never forget where my blessings have come from and give time, praise and honor to the one who has provided the blessings...You. Today, I reconnect with You Lord in order to hear You again for the all important life instructions that I need to heed to each day that makes my life stay in order Your way.

Great Hub!

Wonderful ideas!

It is important to keep in contact with the Lord each day and all throughout the day.

I start each day with: "This is the DAY that the LORD has MADE. Let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it!"

Thank You!
