Just Stand-Sista' Devotions 365: When Life Seems Too Hectic To Stay Connected - Day 2

Just stand...and wait for your miracle!
Just stand...and wait for your miracle!

Just Stand!

What do you do when you've done all you can? Gospel singer Donnie McClirkin asked that poignant question in his famous song "Stand" which gives you the answer... You just STAND! Be still in your season of doubt while you wait on the Lord to show up. Truth be told, He's already there. He's been there waiting for you to surrender your fight to Him. It's in that uncertain time, that season of doubt that God can begin to transform your mind...renewing it...causing your faith to build up with strength that will surprise even you. That's where He wants you. Totally trusting and relying on Him, having exhausted all of your own devices. That's when the miracle comes. That thing that happens...when it happens... all who witness it will know without a shadow of a doubt that...IT WAS GOD.

Psalm 46:10 (Amplified Bible) 10Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!

Prayer: Father, I have done everything I know to do to advance my situation, come out of my “lion's den” circumstance and pull through my hardship. I am going nowhere and I am not seeing my reward nor my salvation. I understand now what you are directing me to do and I have heard and will obey. I will be still. In my time of doubt I will be still and trust you. Thank you in advance for the miracle that you will grace me with and I will be sure to bless and praise your name among men, before and after it is finished. In Jesus name...Amen.
