Something Mystical Sleeps
With deep gratitude to fellow hubber SueSwan, who informs us that April is Poetry Month, I am sharing this greeting card which I recently created. This photograph of the Black-billed Magpie was taken at Christ in the Desert Monastery in Abiquiu, New Mexico. After looking at the photo, these words just came:
Something mystical sleeps
In the stillness
between wing beats
In the silence
Waiting to be awakened by you...
It is my heartfelt hope you enjoy the image and the text; and that you continue to discover and delight in many of the joys and wonders of our beautiful world.

There are times we get in a funk. Despite all of our best intentions and even with our understanding of the power of a positive mindset, we can still get discouraged or experience a setback.
The power of the understanding and meaning we bring to something, largely determines the way we will experience it. The wonder of this, is that grief holds within itself the possibility of happiness.
