The False Gospel - The Additions

In the previous article, The False Gospel – The Subtractions, it was revealed that the modern “church” proclaims a me-centered “gospel” that puts man in control with a “Jesus” that conforms to what man wants; therefore, they subtract from the conditions of salvation to appeal inclusively to everyone. This article will reveal the additions that have been added to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, which makes it a bastardized “gospel” that is an abomination to God.

My "personal Savior," my homeboy.
My "personal Savior," my homeboy.

Addition of a “Personal Savior”

When man takes the helm instead of Christ, they attempt to become the “Savior” instead. They offer a “personal Savior” that will serve their own needs. Accepting is simply acknowledging that Christ died on the cross for them. That’s it, this means that you now “believe” in Jesus. He is your “personal Savior” who is under the control and ownership of what you want him to do for you.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit - John 15:16

  • We are to follow Christ, not just accept him.
  • We are to conform to Christ, not the other way around.
  • We are called to a locality, not isolation.
  • We are called to serve, not to be served.
  • We are not saved just for ourselves.

Addition of “Accepting the Lord”

The concept of “accepting the Lord” is not found anywhere in Scripture. In the modern church system, it is on the extensive menu list as one of the freebies that is offered when you make a decision to become a member of organized religion. You become an official tithing club member immediately upon “accepting the Lord,” and assured that they you are “saved” without even having to deal with your own sins. You are “saved,” even though you continue to walk in disobedience. All you have to do is “accept” and all will be “ok,” if not, there is an extensive menu of options to suite everyone’s needs. Talk to pastor.

The favorite.
The favorite.

The Addition of "God’s Favorites"

The bastardized “gospel” makes God have His personal favorites. The “God” of their making is more partial to people who embellish their self-interests. They exalt themselves by their titles, prosperity, social status and achievements. Every church has their group who are considered celebrities and the groupies that follow them. They are the rock-stars of their bastardized "gospel."

The "call" to become a member of organized religion.
The "call" to become a member of organized religion.

The Addition of the “Altar Call”

The altar call is a crowd pleaser technique that manipulates the masses. It can be used in many different ways to coerce, extort, blackmail and intimidate. If you don’t walk down the aisle, or come forward, then you are not accepted as a genuine member of organized religion. The reality is, the altar call is not found as a practice among the early ekklesia in the New Testament.

All done, you're good to go!
All done, you're good to go!

The Addition of the “Sinner’s Prayer”

The pulpit puppets of spiritual Babylon preach about all the prosperity and blessing you will receive when you “accept the Lord” as your own “personal Savior” at the altar call. Once you walk down the aisle and kneel at the feet of one of the salaried clergy members, you will be asked to recite the sinner’s prayer. This canned prayer is parroted word-for-word as the salvation prayer.

The scripted words of the sinner’s prayer do not reflect the individual, nor is it the words of the person either. It is a pre-packaged ritual that is recited to get something out of God. These people become parrots at the altar of man voiding the work of the Holy Spirit.

All those who partake in this canned declaration at the altar often walk away with unconfessed sin and open themselves up to the condemnation of Satan that is meant to continually oppress them. They do not grow, but actually digress into a delusion that they have achieved salvation, but the fact is, they have not even started their walk with Christ. They have entered into a four-walled social club that promotes self and salvation through carnal means instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal their sin. Instead, a salaried membership specialist upon the podium leads you right into the hands of Satan through his sophistry.

Without confession, there is no cooperation with the Spirit of truth that works in each individual. It is not through some prepackaged canned tradition. The sinner’s prayer script is nowhere to be found in the activities of the early ekklesia.

The sinner’s prayer is a man-made device that is a fraudulent practice to control others. It is not the road to life, but one that leads into spiritual manipulation and control of by bowing down in front of professional clergy who want you to accept them as the mediator between you and God.

The true Gospel is an admission and confession of our own sin and disobedience towards God. By His grace we are then able to follow the call that Christ has given us to expand the Kingdom of God.

The Addition of “Works”

The peddled “gospel” of the modern church is a counterfeit scam of an easy ticket to salvation. It is a wasteland of empty promises and spiritual foods devoid of any sustenance. It is a works based salvation that says if you keep going to church, revival meetings, conferences, seminars, prayer meetings, and also purchase books, CD’s and DVD’s, you will prosper and receive blessing. The sheeple become deluded indoctrinated drones who are zealous for the next quick-fix striving for what they can do for themselves instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to do the work of what Christ has done. This bastardized gospel makes people into failures and the products of disillusionment and bitterness towards the genuine Gospel.

The Addition of Abominations

The true Gospel has become a backdrop to the addition of abominable practices that merchandise the things of God through rituals, traditions and practice of things that He has clearly forbidden in Scripture. The modern “gospel” condones occult practices with open displays of witchcraft. Occult practices are redefined into religious lingo and the church members gobble it up. The made-to-order “Jesus” is actually Satan who is eager to customize the Gospel anyway that they see fit by making them feel comfortable in their own sin. If you don’t like one church, shop around. There is a church on just about every street corner that will cater to your every need, except of course, the true Gospel. The pagan modern churches today celebrate Christmas, Easter and Halloween so that all will feel warm and welcome in her arms.

Counterfeit Christianity is a dark and idolatrous group of people who refuse to give up their beloved traditions. They set up their icons, idols and symbols in their churches and in their homes ignorantly giving homage to Satan in the name of “Jesus.” They have not dealt with their unrepentant flesh; therefore, they continue to embellish their traditions and persecute those who stand on the Spirit of truth in all that they do.

The bastardized “gospel” tolerates what God considers abominations and attempts to mix the holy and profane with uncleanliness and idolatry.

The true Gospel is about purity, holiness, righteousness and singular worship to the one true God.

Addition of Marketing Techniques

The message of the true Gospel is a narrow road that gives no credence to the commercial merchandised products of the world, their producers, or the prince of darkness that runs them. The mass-marketing efforts of the modern church affirms the sales tactics and methods of the world. They say that it is “OK” to practice these methods and call it the “Gospel.” T-shirts, bumper stickers, bracelets, special clothing, toys, symbols, signs, titles and labels are created to flaunt their own versions of the “gospel.” The fact is, all these things are tools of manipulation into accepting as their “personal Savior.”

My challenge to those who buy into all of this stiff is, where do you find these examples portrayed in Scripture?

The Addition of Follow Ups

Not only are people being manipulated into attending a meeting in a building, pressured to go down the aisle to an alter call, recite the sinner’s prayer, accept Jesus as Lord as their personal Savior, they are additionally stalked with a follow-up”to be manipulated into continually coming to pre-orchestrated man driven meetings. The modern church sees the convert as an investment product product. They know ho to get them hopped up on the bastardized “gospel" till they they will empty their wallets into their coffers.

They love to hand out glossy pamphlets full of specially designed words and symbols to instruct and guide them every step of the way right into Satan’s kingdom. It is making sure that their spiritual abortion was a success that created a new captive dead soul enslaved in spiritual Babylon ruled by the prince of darkness.

The Imitation

The “soul winning” tools they use up-sells their imitation “gospel.” Lies are promoted as truth with each denomination convinced that they are the true church. This is the biggest con of the modern church system that by making you accept their “gospel” that makes a complete mockery of Christ and what He has done with man-made substitutions. These grotesque versions keep people slaves to their fleshly appetites and ignorant to the fact that they are still lost in their man-made traditions.

It may be a shock to you that most of what is called “church” and what is called the "Gospel” is an abysmal knock-off of the real thing. All the zeal, hustle and bustle of those who proclaim Christ are all in vain. They have been conditioned into drinking the “Kool-Aid” of instant “salvation.” The drink is a short-lived sugar high that leaves those who consume it craving for their next fix. They have no idea what it is like to drink from the fountain of life.

Many fail to understand that we have no right to pronounce salvation upon anyone. By doing so, it is man giving assurance to another man. They give themselves the authority of the Christ and put themselves on the throne of judgement.

It is Christ who will be at the judgement seat and say “I never knew you” to those who were deluded into believing that there was assurance”in their own created “gospel” that they had made for themselves. They are the workers of iniquity promoting a forgery and a scam.

The harlot and all her "converts" are what make up the modern church.
The harlot and all her "converts" are what make up the modern church.

Stop Playing Church

This is a message to all those who are tired of playing the church game. It is time to leave the ploys of Satan and his minions and leave it all behind. Run from all the noise and confusion and listen to the call of the Holy Spirit. Time is running out, turn from the corruption while there is still enough light to make it into the Kingdom of God.

The depth of the antichrist kingdom runs very deep. It requires much depth of thought and weighing and testing to discern the real from the counterfeit. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you the corruption if you ask. There are so many who are a part of this corrupt movement. It is only the Holy Spirit that can speak to our hearts and give us the strength through the grace of Christ to cut the umbilical cord and be completely free from the harlot church system. All the work and effort in the modern church is complete waste of time, energy and resources because it is defiled. It is a defiled prostitute of the true Gospel posing as a pure bride offered to a bloodless “Jesus.”

The harlot and all her converts are what make up the modern church system today. They are seduced men and woman who desire to have their ears tickled in a spiritual brothel of excitement, entertainment, pleasure and gratification. We must return to the true unadulterated Gospel before it is too late. Time is running out. We need to repent of our fornication with her.

The true Gospel is not about an extensive menu of endless options that caters to everyones flavours and appetites. It is an exclusive message that preaches and proclaims the plan of Christ. The window of opportunity is winding down. Many are duped into believing that broad road is the narrow one.

Waking up requires that we humble ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christ is not calling us to a building, but to a quiet place. Come out of her and meet the true Teacher who will be the the lamp unto your and the light upon your path.

Good Morning PandN,

It seems that most of your hubs center on the negative aspects of the modern church, which by the way I agree with you 99% of the time.. Maybe it would be helpful to write an article on what the true church is rather than what the true church is not. We know what the apostate church looks like, but what about the true church? What should we be looking for? Just a thought.

wow--- what an anointed pair of messages. Thank You, I agree 100%.

You have expressed what I see in such an anointed manner, I am so blessed by your ability to write .

Lifegate- I expect that to follow. the scriptural process is found in Jermiah

Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,

To root out and to pull down,

To destroy and to throw down,

To build and to plant."

NKJV

PandN- You have introduced another great Hub. And as always right on target. celafoe said it right; " You have expressed what I see in such an anointed manner, I am so blessed by your ability to write." I agree with celafoe. God bless.

Hello PLANKSANDNAILS.

Yet one of the best of your messages, perhaps only for those who read by the open eyes letting the holy Spirit to guide them. (Just a thought: Idea proposed by the 'life gate ' is worthwhile idea.)

[ an inspiration after the reading " If you walk without ' these signs following you'… Mar.16:17;" - check your walk carefully . Speaking to me primarily - again.]

Voted up, useful, useful, interesting.

Pax vobiscum

Lifegate,

I do not know what I am going to write about until the day I write the article. I believe the Lord leads me to what He wants me to write about. If I did otherwise, it would be a failure no matter how well written and polished it was.

I believe I have continually made distinctions between the true Church and the modern "church" in almost all of my articles. They are balanced in the spirit of agape love, but will not give warm and fuzzies to the people that want them.

Anyone who is of clergy status (salaried) will not like what I write because it will expose their lofty earthly position.

What are we to look for? I believe you have asked a good question.

Many assume that Church is an earthly organization, but it is not. You cannot look for it because it is an invisible spiritual organism born of the Spirit. The Church (ekklesia) are called by Jesus Christ. The simplicity is in knowing our calling. Without it, you can never walk out the essentials of the faith.

The Church is built by Jesus Christ that was purchased with His blood and included as PART of the Kingdom of God.

We cannot make any Church because it already was spiritually made in Jerusalem. The modern "church" in contrast was physically made in Rome and continues to expand its real estate on this cursed earth. The true Church expands God's Kingdom by spiritual means.

You do not join "Church," but are placed into one body with Jesus Christ as the Head. You do not go into a "church," but are sent OUT on a mission from God to preach the Gospel without any additions or subtractions from what He has done.

Those who claim that you must attend a "church" to be right with God proves that they fail to understand the true Church, or what the body of Christ means. It's that simple. The Word of God expands on these details for those who have the eyes to see and the ears to hear.

Celafoe,

Thanks for the encouragement. I believe that we must continue to object to the creeds of men. To not do so would be rejecting His Lordship in our lives.

God Bless.

Graceinus,

I appreciate your vigilance in seeking truth, but also exposing the counterfeit. Get used to the clergy deleting your comments. They believe they are above reproach, but will stand before God at the White Throne Judgement.

Michael Milec,

It is good to hear from you. You are right, we cannot know any truth without the Holy Spirit to guide us.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. - Philippians 2:12-13

Amen.

I would also like to add to my previous comment to Lifegate about what we are to look for as an indicator of the true Church.

Firstly, the true Church are people who obey God and hold to His teachings. This is the first stepping stone in discovering where they are found. Because they hunger and thirst for righteousness, they are the most despised and hated people, especially by those who partake in organized religion.

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." - John 15:19

Jesus Christ is NOT found in the modern "church" because it is the throne of the dragon and his bloodless false Christ.

The true Church is hidden, the modern church is visible.

The true Church are persecuted, the modern church persecutes.

The true Church are hunted, the modern church are the hunters.

The true Church are hated, the modern church are beloved.

The true Church are afflicted, the modern church are prosperous.

The true Church are suffering, the modern church are satiated.

The true Church are sheep, the modern church are wolves.

The true Church are spiritual, the modern church are carnal.

The true Church are discerning, the modern church are blind.

The true Church are pure, the modern church are perverted.

The true Church are destined unto life, the modern church are destined to death.

The true Church are called heretics, the false church are called saints.

The true Church are the elect, the modern church are reprobates.

The true Church are few, the modern church are many.

The modern "church" that the whole world sees gives off an an illusion of holiness, love, peace, charity, unity and wisdom.

Those who have spiritual eyes by His grace will see it for the abomination that it is. The modern "church" is the spirit of the Antichrist, spiritual Babylon that bathes in lying wonders, sorcery, simony, idolatry, thefts, whoredom, extortion, treason, etc...

Those who do not have the Holy Spirit will not see it for what it is and continue vehemently to promote its carnal doctrine.

Jesus Christ said that He would build His Church. The modern "church" is built by men.

Is the big "church" in the middle of your city the true Church?

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." - Luke 12:32

"For many are called, but few are chosen." - Matthew 22:14

You see, the sinning world loves the modern "church," that is why its flock is so big.

In contrast,

And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. - Revelation 12:17

The true Church are people that have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of them, NOT people dwelling inside a building.

Identification indicators:

Jesus is the leader of the Church.

Leaders are to serve the Church, not be its salaried clergy, masters, mediators or priesthood.

God's government is for our encouragement, edification and correction.

The true Church are only people who are are called, chosen and have been called by God; they have the Holy Spirit within them that manifests in righteousness and obedience towards God.

The true Church are a "little flock," but strong enough to anything God call them to do.

The true Church are not compromised with worldly traditions, but are called out of the world. They are not popular with the world and are persecuted for worshiping God in spirit and truth.

They preach the Gospel of God's coming kingdom and are watchman in the time that we live in.

Nice comparison. Thanks PandN.

graceinus 2 years ago from those of the Ekklesia

PandN- Great comment. It explains the true church as it really is. You have the habit of hitting the nail right on the head. If one knows how to discern through the Holy Spirit they would realize everything you just explained is in the word of God. Have a great day.

God bless PandN.

MY STORY:

I came from a violent home, (drugs, alcohol, gun shots, being chased with knives, people thrown through picture pane windows), in fact I was born three months early because my father kicked my mother in the stomach.

I was born weighing two pounds nine ounces, this was DEC of 1956.

As early as 7yrs old, I was out on the streets till 3-4am, I was put in three orphanages...

One night I remember, my father snuck into our house, he put a loaded pistol in my hand and told me too shoot my sisters and my mother, it was crazy.

Through all of this, (which I wouldn't change), I came out a fairly normal kid, I was involved in sports and didn't do drugs, or drink. I thought I was a survivor, wanting only too make it through another day.

In 1974 I started too sense a need in my life, an emptiness that I couldn't explain. I knew I had to find God/Jesus, but who was HE.

I had no idea where to find HIM, so I went to the local library to find books concerning world religions, God, and the occult.

At the library I met an ex-hippie (Gary Osborn) he saw my books and decided to share the message with me.

Gary invited me to pray in the back of his V.W. so I did, I remember saying "God forgive me for my sins, and whatever you have for me I want it all".

Well at first nothing happened I expected, lightening or something. Gary said, "Just go home and praise God" I said, "What's that, mean" Gary said, "Just thank him" So I did just that.

The remaining is sacred to me, before I asked Jesus into my heart, I never heard voices, I never drank, and I never did drugs, but one week after meeting Jesus while in the middle of my last class (during high school)

A voice, just as clear, as someone standing next to you, spoke, and as the voice spoke it said to me, "rod tell them about Jesus" I was surprised, but unafraid, I put my hand over my mouth, since I didn't want anyone to think I was talking too myself, I said (to whoever spoke to me) "I don't know what to say" the voice said "don't be afraid, I'll give you the words to say"

To this day I don't remember my words, but I spoke to those kids about Jesus and salvation, their mouths just dropped open and then, class was over, I walked out of that room, feeling like I had never felt before.

The next day was Saturday; I slept in the living room on an old couch. When I woke it was early and I decided to turn on the TV, to watch my favorite cartoon, the roadrunner.

As I sat there watching the TV, I got up and looked outside, everything was so beautiful, (I never appreciated nature, I just wanted to make it thru another day). BUT now it was so pretty, I sat back down on the couch, and as I did I was somewhere else.

I was sitting at a long roughhewn table. In front of me was God, the father. I couldn't see him, to my left was Satan, him I could see (he looked like a man only very big) then to my right was Jesus.

Three bowls appear, filled with what looked like porridge.

Now the father spoke and said Satan dismiss yourself, Satan stood and screamed, then vanished. Three bites were taken out of the bowl.

Then all at once I was watching myself from a distance, walking with Jesus up a grassy pathway. Jesus was speaking to me but from a distance I couldn't hear him, I could see myself shaking my head (like I understand) then thru my eyes I saw the house where I had been sleeping.

I didn't know what had happened; I'd never experienced anything like that, but I knew two things, I had to find a pastor to talk too, and I KNEW GOD loved me and wanted something from me...my total surrender. My life totally under his control, every second, moment by moment, and I was consumed with this one desire, to live too PLEASE HIM. Let me give you an example: When a friend from school would come over and say, "Hey rod." "Let's go to a show" I'd say, "hold on." Then I'd go in the bathroom and pray, "Lord should I go?" Sometimes the Lord would say "go", sometimes "no"

At times He was silent, when this happened I would look inside, to my heart, (Spirit), (see Colossians 3:15) if I had peace I would go, If not, I'd stay home.

As I practiced this new desire, (surrender), I noticed the voice of the Lord became more frequent and clearer, (John 10:27). It always had to agree with scripture. The word of the Lord will always agree with the true meaning and / or the true interpretation of scripture).

I knew I needed to get a bible. So I went to a bookstore and I got the largest family bible I'd ever seen, with pictures and everything. I was so happy.

That night the voice of the lord said, "Read Matthew 5." I had to look in the contents; I didn't know where Matthew was.

When I found it and started to read, the words became a ("Word of the Lord to me") they just jumped off the page, they seemed to come alive, and they filled me, with hope, love and peace. Now I knew God loved me, and my sins were gone, I was forgiven...

As time passed I grew, sometimes I'd walk into a busy office or building (like a D.O.L) and the Lord would say go sit by that guy.

I would strike up a conversation, then say "you don't know me but I'm a Christian and God is going to share with me about your life" I don't mean simple things like "you have the flu" or "Headaches", but deep, personal things that others couldn't know or even guess.

People would usually start to cry and ask "how did you know?" I'd say "I didn't but God knew".

One of the best lessons from the Lord concerning trusting Him happened like this; I was traveling from Philly to Atlantic city, I got on the road, and started to hitch a ride, (it wasn't illegal at that time) within one hour and twenty minutes I was in Atlantic city (which was a one hour drive!)

I got 4 different rides, as I stepped into each vehicle I boldly proclaimed "Hi I'm a child of the King, and God's going to bless you for picking me up!" God gave me very personal details about each of those people and all but one came to Christ.

When I got to Atlantic City, God said "Rod, when you get to the prayer meeting tonight I want you to give all your money, to Johnnie Diaz". I said "Lord that's all I've got?" (About 300.00)

God replied; "you take care of your brothers and sisters in the Lord and I'll take care of you." So upon arriving in Atlantic City, I secretly gave all my money to Johnnie, (this was to cover something for Johnnie that was very personal, so I know he didn't share this with anyone).

That night I asked myself "how am I going to get back to work, tomorrow? I didn't have a penny, not even enough for bus fare, and in my spirit I knew I wasn't to hitch hike, but instead the Lord wanted me on the bus.

After sleeping that night and leaving the brothers house the next day, (where the meeting had been held), I started walking to the bus station.

As I got closer and closer, I was imagining, "is the drivers going to just "know" he's supposed to let me ride for free?" But as I approached the depot, a brother named "Chicky" came out of his house and said "rod I think the Lord wants me to give this to you." It was exactly what I needed for bus fare!

This has been a short summary of my life.

Jean Nicholas Grou says, "God delights in two things, for a man too know God and too know himself." I now know what I'm capable of without him, living life for myself, Sinning, being rebellious.

I want to recommend a couple books that I discovered a few years ago, the book is "Practicing the presence" BY Lawrence and Labach, there are two versions this one is best and includes Labach's testimony. And "The breaking of the outer man for the release of the spirit" By Watchman Nee are very good also.

Here is Dream #1:

I was on the head of a beast, in a large body of water (Like the ocean). It was night and the darkness was so real it could be felt. The clouds above were very thick and black. The beast was thrashing as if it wanted to throw me off. I was so afraid!

I was holding on as tight as I could. Then I looked up, and when I did, the clouds opened and rays of light came through the clouds, with the light came that voice that I had heard before and knew so well.

He said "Rod; if I'm ever to use you,

We see a very brief but good explanation of "THE WORD" In Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart ...

But the first time we see mention of the word is in Genesis 1:3

And God said...

Then we see the word mentioned several times in the OT for example Jeremiah 32

Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah...

Then in John 1

And the word became flesh (past tense, meaning it was something else before see Genesis 1 above).

Then we see it in the NT happening to Peter (rise and eat), to Phillip (go next to the chariot), and to Paul (Why do you persecute me).

So we have two things described in the bible...The scriptures; and the word of God, these are 2 different things, but in churches they are seen as one.

We need both in our lives. The word of God is named in the book of revelation and his name is written on his thigh, the person is identified as Jesus.

I Went To See The Son of God Movie... When All of a Sudden...As I Was Watching Jesus Die...

It dawned on me that in all of Paul's writings about:

The Spirit,

The Flesh,

Death,

The 1st Adam,

The 2nd Adam,

and walking in the Spirit...

that these things are all tied to the death of Jesus.

It's as if God decided to give up on "The flesh" and move to the Spirit.

Kind of like changing trains, or modes of transportation…

That is why Jesus said "You must be born again". Born of Spirit. A new creation.

Jesus died; literally killed the vehicle of sin, and death, by dying in the flesh.

So when we are born again, we really are NEW creatures.

Old things have passed away. This is why that seed remains sin free. Because sin worked through the flesh…

Adam was in the flesh, and sinned in the flesh.

Sin can't work in the Spirit…It's not the right vehicle for sin…

Fellowship is not something you enter into because you choose to go to a bible study, a Friday night prayer meeting, or to a Sunday food sharing event in the backyard of the church.

In fact you may not be able to enter into this fellowship with the pastor of your church, or even most of the people who go to your church.

So how do you keep Paul's command to not forsake the gathering together of "YOURSELVES"?

Ponder that word "YOURSELVES"…

Think about the book of Acts… Be patient; just mull it over in your mind…

What do we know about fellowship? It's a spiritual event, it happens while we are in this human body, but it cannot happen apart from SPIRIT.

Paul's constantly admonishing people to SEE if they are in Christ, or IF that Spirit of Christ be IN YOU. Paul also says; "When it pleased God, to reveal, Christ "IN ME"…

Fellowship in the spirit only happens with TRUE believers…

Have you ever had a witness in your spirit? Now I don't mean cheap TV preacher talk here. I mean a real event, where the spirit bore witness in you about an event or person.

Let me give you an example: One day I was crammed into a small room, with 100 guys, this room was maybe 20 feet x 20 feet, we are all standing shoulder to shoulder. I don't know any of the men in this room.

All of a sudden I turn around and look across the room, and I see a man 20 feet away, at the end of the room, facing away from me. All of a sudden I KNEW He was a Christian, a real believer, there was no doubt. I felt this STRONG inner witness about his identity.

Now this inner knowing is the only way you'll know someone is a real believer. It might come while they share their testimony, or when you see them walking on a side road, hitch hiking.

But this is not the same as someone CLAIMING to be a Christian, or someone who was raised in church, or someone who agrees with all your doctrines, or someone who runs to the alter, or someone who reads their bible, or even someone who you call "my pastor".

Going to a building with lots of people inside, and calling it church is no different than going to a Safeway store full of people…UNLESS… Everyone there is a true believer, and the unbeliever is afraid to be in their midst.

Rodneyo,

Thanks for sharing some of your story and experiences. I am glad you realize that what is called church is not all that it is cracked up to be. In fact, it is a counterfeit man-made system that leads people to a false Christ. The system was birthed during the time of Constantine and is based on man's way of attaining God through a false "Gospel."

The veil was rent and the temple system does not apply to the Ekklesia. There are not many who will agree with me on this, but what it comes down to is whether you will allow Jesus Christ to build his Ekklesia or let men make their own religious kingdoms for themselves. What people choose determines what road they are on.

Keep pressing into God's Word and allow the spirit of Christ to reveal God's Word to you in a deeper way. Be a disciple of him so that he can use you to sow seeds for the Kingdom.

I am glad to meet you. Thank-you for sharing.
