The Book of Revelation Audio Version
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1:3
I recently made an audio version of the Book of Revelation in which I would like to share with you all. Personally, I prefer the King James Version but I could only find the American Standard Version. Nevertheless, it is still a blessing.
We have to remember that "faith cometh by hearing" so even if you are too busy or you think you are, you could listen to this in the background or on your iphone.
Although the book of Revelation can be difficult to understand we are still promised to be "blessed" from hearing it and taking it to heart. I hope you are blessed by this and thank you for reading and listening.
P.S. I have a little story and prayer requests that I would like to share with you.
Greg, a new neighbor I met at I am sure one of his very worst times. My other neighbor came and got me when he went to her window late at night asking for help. He was in rough shape, his face and head were swollen and showed residue of dried blood. He was crying and yelling that he was going to kill himself. She thinks I am a nurse, although I have told her numerous times that I am a lab tech, reguardless, of course, I was happy to help. I am very familiar with mental illness since I used to work in these type of group homes and having some family members who have been in psych wards. I asked him some questions and learned that he went off his medication cold turkey. He claims that his Psychiatrist told him to do this. I don't believe this. He said he had a loaded gun in his garage and that he wanted to kill himself. He said he went down to the river and was going to go in but he couldn't leave his dog. After gathering some info in my mind and the state of his house, I realized that he was crashing. After me and my my neighbor got some ice for his head and side of the face, I decided that we should call the ambulance. Greg had said that he had fallen out of bed. This did not look like that, it was way worse. She said that he doesn't want to go to the hospital. I didn't really know him but I didn't think he would kill himself. Only because most people that talk about it don't do it. Nevertheless, Greg really needed help. I suggested that we call the Mobile Crisis Unit, a free service that we have here but when I mentioned it he yelled, "no". He was already familiar with it. Finally, we managed to get a phone number of one of his sons. He came over and acted like he was all too familiar with this scenario. He agreed that his father should not of went off his meds. Something strange happen to me while I was there, while I was sort of kneeling down to talk to Greg, I felt as if his son swung at me, like to hit me. I immediatly got up and just stood. My neighbor that I went there with was in clear sight and didn't say that he did this. I felt an evil presence and a warning like of feeling. It was like I felt the wind, like he was trying to hit me right behind me. We eventually left because the son said he will handle it I know this sounds crazy. The next day I saw Deanna at around 6 pm. She said that police came and the ambulance came for Greg. I was happy to hear this. He really needed help. Deanna thanked me for my help and said that she didn't have a clue about the medication thing. I said I don't mind helping in emergency situations but I didn't want to get involved. This is not like me, God usually puts it in my heart to help. But not yet, or now. This is what I feel or know. It turns out that Greg told another neighbor that it was the very son that we called to come over that beat up his father. So, yeah he probably really wanted to hit me, because he was afraid that I would find out what really happen. Like I said, I sensed an evil presence there.
Please pray for direction in this matter and for Greg -for salvation and deliverance. I think that Greg's son is into Satanism, so please pray for salvation for him too. Pray for my protection as well. Thank you and Thank you for reading. God bless.
