The Day of Atonement is For You Too.

All Christians and Humans Need Christ's Atoning Blood

Welcome to our Hub page. Today is the Day of Atonement, this 10th Day of the seventh month or October 8, 2011 in this year. Do you keep it? You should because this Day is vital for the Salvation of all human Kind. This is that Day when Satan is first bound for 1,000 years and then put away forever, Revelation 20:1-3,10. This is one of God's Major Holydays that was given to our Israelite ancestors back in Leviticus 23:26-32. It is still to be kept as a statute forever. So why do not all Israelites, Christians and Gentiles and Jews keep it today? After all this is that Day when finally humans can be at one with God without Satan around to distract us with his own holidays and evil ways, like Christmas and Easter.

This Day is special in that it depicts Jesus Christ as the sacrificed male Lamb or goat for you and me first mentioned at the Exodus Passover, Exodus 12:3-6, and Leviticus 16:7-10,15-21. This is that New Testament Passover fufilled by Jesus Christ on Nisan 14th in the year 31 A.D.. It is the day when Satan will be dethroned as the god of this world by the great angel, Michael, ten days after Christ's return. So it is important that we keep it now in remembrance as one of the most dramatic events that Christ will complete for us. This is that Day when all the sins of humankind will be put on the head of the great deceiver Satan, where they belong, Revelation 12:9, Leviticus 16:20-22.

It is a very long story on how this Day stopped being important to us all. First off, the Israelites from the House of Israel who received them were finally sent into national captivity starting in 721 B.C.. This was after many years of not keeping any of God's Holydays that God sent them away from Israel as captives to the ancient Assyrians for breaking God's Laws and Commandments which include this Holy Day, Leviticus 23:29-32. So it is a Day in which all humans should be looking forward too now, but most do not because of the wickedness of the House of Israel and the House of Judah. Though some Christians and Jews keep them today most humans have not heard about how important they are to us. So take this Hub to heart and learn the need to keep this Day in remembrance of Christ's Second coming.

It is a special Day of fasting and affliction of our bodies required only once a year but it is not the only time we need to fast, but to make sure we do it at least once a year to celebrate this Day at this time of the Year. The Jews call this Day, Yom Kipper, or Day to afflict their souls and some still do it even though they do not accept Jesus Christ as Yeshua their Messiah. Many are still blinded to Christ but they will finally understand when Christ returns as mentioned in Zechariah 12:10, then God will pour out his Grace on the Jews of the remaining House of Judah. Until then many Jews find it hard to accept Christ and look to a different Messiah among the Noahide or Babylonian Talmud keeping Jews of today. Many Messianics keep this Day, but they do not keep Nisan 14th the Way Christ said to when he gave his new ordinances of the footwashing, and eating unleaven bread on the Passover evening along with drinking wine, Luke 22:15-20 & Mark 14:22-25, Matthew 26:26-29, John 13:4-17. They keep a Seder on the Fifteenth of Nisan instead. So, follow Christ and make sure of your salvation.

There are certain 7th Day Christians that do keep this Day with the rest of God's Holy Days from Leviticus 23, along with God's Holy Sabbath Day mentioned as the Day Christ kept in Luke 4:14-16. Christ kept his own Holy Days since He was the one that gave them to the nation of Israel in Exodus 19 & 20, Leviticus 23 and Leviticus 16. Christians kept these Days up until the Council of Nicea in Rome, Italy. At that time Emperor Constantine enforced pagan holidays instead to replace God's Holy Days and persecution began against Christians who kept any of God's Holy Days or Sabbaths.

Much of the understanding of these Days were eventually lost but they are still kept by Christians today who have the freedom to choose here in the USA. There are Christians in China and other Countries that keep them. These Christians usually keep them but suffer persecution all the time but they are faithful and keep waiting for this Day of Atonement to be fufilled ten Days after Christ's return on the Feast of Trumpets, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58. So,whether we are alive or dead when Christ returns, true Christians will keep these Holy Days with this special Day of Atonement along with newly converted Jews on the tenth Day of the 7th Month. God has not changed but will bring about his will on earth for us, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8.

Then at last equality, mutuality and harmony will be the order of the Day. No more male misogynistic abuse against women. No more need for women to manipulate men to get their way. At last marriages that will last because people will follow God's Laws of Love and treat one another as equals. Large families with robust children full of good health and bodies that will last a lifetime without cancer or any diseases that trouble us now. All because we have a loving Parent in the third heaven, who gave us his only begotten Son, so we can have the abundant life as His sons and daughters forever, 2 Corinthians 6:17-18. If you also want this kind of life , keep Their Commandments along with Their Holy Days, Leviticus 23:2-31, 32, John 14:15-16.

The God Family invites you to keep Their Holy Days with like minded people or you can keep them on your own. If you will look for 7th Day Churches that keep, them you may be able to keep them with them. Check your Internet for a list of Christian Churches that keep God's Annual Holy Days and inquire about them. Remember, God's Work is a Work of Faith and Grace in Christ Jesus. Christ layed down his life for us so we can take part and be At-One-ment with Him and God the Father and the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:18-20, Revelation 22:12-13, Romans 8:31-39. So let's keep this Day to the Lord Jesus Christ. All of God's Sabbaths and Holy Days will be kept forever, Isaiah 66:23.

No offence meant here but have you considered that you may be mistaken on ANY of the points you make?

I could be but I try very hard to listen to the Spirit since I'M not the smartest guy around, 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. The Holy Spirit keeps after me until I get things right, 1 Corinthians 2:4-14. I try to be of a humble contrite mind even though I'm a Irish American,Isaiah 66:1-2. I have never kissed the Blarney Stone as of yet, but I really don't need to if I seek God's truths like a Berean, Acts 17:10-12.I always seek, ask and knock but sometimes God just pours out his grace and blessings without my asking, Matthew 7:7, Romans 4:16; 5:1-5,11-20.

How about you?

wolfpack5,

Welcome and thanks for writing. Actually we are 7th Day Christians but we do visit our Sunday Baptist friends a lot. Tomorrow they will be starting a week long Revival. This is always fun. Most 7th Day should have them too. They way I see not all our doctrines may be the same but we need to work together to get the witness out for Christ. One thing is sure if we don't work together we certainly will hang seperately. However, if we work together we may hang together but we'll get the witness out together bigger and better. God looks at the heart and if our hearts are right though we do not have everything right we can be accepted, 1Corinthians 3:10-15.

Wolf pack5- I have a wolf dog. His daddy was a big timberwolf who mated with our Jack Russel- Beagle. Sammy is kind of a small wolf but is much smarter then my three other dogs. However, his mom seems to have the last word on some matters.

Have blessed nice day.
