The Death of America Part 4

We have seen previously that America will be destroyed probably by a nuclear attack from Russia. So the question now becomes, Is there anything that we as Americans can do to prevent this? The short answer is no. God has already declared in His Word that this will take place.

Why would God allow this? For sure, sin in America is out of control. We could look at the homosexual agenda, drugs, abortion, abusive behavior. The list goes on, but I believe the reason for America's failure is ultimately the Christian. We have failed. Ezekiel 26:22 says, " Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them." America has reached this point. Even the religious leaders of the day have placed no difference between the holy and the profane. Revelation tells us that we are kings and priests, and we have made no difference. Our families have failed. Our churches have failed. Our country has failed.

Further in the book of Ezekiel God says, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them..." God is looking for someone to stand in the gap--someone to stand for Him. I wonder if God were to look at your heart right now (and He is), would He find you standing for Him in the gap?

I hear that the way to cook frogs is to put them in cool water and slowly turn up the heat. If they were placed immediately into boiling water they would jump out, but the gradual raising of the temperature lulls them into complacency. Is that happening in your life? Have you been slowly lulled to sleep? God expects us to make a stand, to go against the grain, to be effective for Him. In these last days, will you join me in doing just that?

Glad to have you stand in the gap. If you get a chance go to and sign up. This is truly one way we can stand in the gap. I believe God is really going to move.

I heard a favorite teacher of mine say I believe it was 138 top teachers, pastors, in America, do not teach Jesus as savior or willing to lump Christianity into other religions as one saying we all have the same God and willing to drop Christ as our savior for the sake of religions who don't want Him. (Of course that is all about money, getting everyones.) God have mercy on our souls and take us out. Surely America has turned her back on God who gave us so much.

America certainly has lost her way. The only hope the church has has been discarded by leaving Jesus Christ out. Still, I believe God is working and wants to call us back to Himself. I'd like to invite you stand with us in prayer for our country by signing up at Hope to see you there! And thanks for following along in this series.

Lifegate - I've read all 4 of your articles on The Death of America. I concur that you are spot on with the Word of God.

What you've written is being rejected by most of God's Church. No one wants to believe that the 'good times' will come to an end, but America's sins "have reached unto heaven" Rev. 18:5. And as you pointed out in a previous piece, some of America's sins are still ahead. The blood of the saints will be on her hands as the last day's Gospel of the coning Kingdom, soon to be preached IN FULL, will be rejected by most Americans, including some of those among God's people; almost all churches teach a watered down Gospel, a powerless Gospel. The comparison is that of Mathew chapter 25, the 10 virgins (the called of God), 5 of whom are foolish, who've bought into a false Gospel and are unprepared for the coming of Christ (after the Great Tribulation). The other 5 have "worked out their own salvation in fear and trembling" Phil. 2:12; they've not been like those of the lukewarm church at Laodicea Rev. 3:14-3:16.

Thanks for the articles.

Thanks for taking time our of your schedule to read. You're absolutely right that the 21st century churches have missed the mark on sin - but God hasn't. It's all recorded and we are accountable. Thanks again for stopping by.
