The Great Celestial Cycles and Its Effects on Consciousness

Many are aware of the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cycles, but are you aware of much greater cycles that affect our consciousness? Just as there are four seasons in the year, there are also four different seasons, or ages, that affect our degree of conscious awareness. The Greeks referred to them as the Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age. In India, they were known as the Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. The Mayans described Four Worlds. Now, let's take a look at these different ages:

Golden Age (Satya Yuga) (The Spiritual Age)
The Golden Age is referred to as the Spiritual Age where consciousness and intelligence is at its highest. We fully understand and demonstrate Unity Consciousness. We have a perfect attunement with nature and God. The people in this age live in peace, love, and harmony.

Silver Age (Treta Yuga) (The Mental Age)
The Silver Age is referred to as the Mental Age. We utilize our minds to create our reality. We can also communicate telepathically with one another. However, our level of conscious awareness is lower than in the Golden Age, as well as our moral and ethical ideals.

Bronze Age (Dwapara Yuga) (The Energy Age)
The Bronze Age is known as the Energy Age. In this age, we move beyond our senses and discover a world of energy, electricity, and magnetism. There are a lot of scientific and technological advances that take place during this period. Einstein’s famous equation, e = mc square, brings a new light to the former Material Age. It is believed that we are currently in this age.

Iron Age (Kali Yuga) (The Material Age)
The Iron Age is the darkest period of consciousness. It is often referred to as the “Dark Age” or Material Age. In this age, human consciousness is at its lowest point. In fact, most individuals during this period are limited to their five senses. In addition, we see that humans are divided and solely pre-occupied with the accumulation of money and material possessions.

The Great Year

Plato referred to this grand cycle as “The Great Year.” He said that it lasts for 25,920 years. Some researchers say that it lasts around 24,000 years, while others round it up to 26,000. Whether it is the former or latter, this is not as important as the effects that this large cycle has on our consciousness. When looking through the literature, we know that the ancients spoke of a Golden Age, when we lived in peace and harmony with nature. Our ancestors were well aware of the fact that we moved through these different seasons of consciousness. They left us plenty of clues to help us remember who we are.

The Precession of the Equinoxes

When discussing “The Great Year,” it helps to understand how the Earth fits into this. It should be clear that the Earth spins on its axis, creating day and night. We get our seasons by Earth’s revolution around the Sun. In the Precession of the Equinoxes, the Earth makes a slow wobble on its axis (similar to a spinning top) that takes 25,920 years to complete. As it does this, it moves through all 12 zodiacal signs. Our planet moves 1 degree in the zodiac every 72 years. It takes roughly 2,160 years to move through each zodiacal sign.

Sirius, Our Sun's Dance Partner

The ancient Egyptians were well aware of the importance of the star Sirius. In fact, the star shafts in the Great Pyramid were precisely oriented to Sirius and the Belt of Orion. It was clear to the Egyptians that our Sun rotated around Sirius. In addition, the yogis of India also accepted this binary star system model. They believed that it was the cause of the Precession Cycle. It is believed that as our Sun gets closer to Sirius that the rate of precession will speed up. This could explain the effect that time seems to be speeding up. In addition, it is believed that as our Sun gets closer to Sirius that it will have a huge affect on our consciousness. We will become more consciously aware. And as our Sun moves further away from Sirius, we will begin to forget who we are. We move from being spiritually aware individuals to individuals that believe they are only a body. Graham Hancock, the author of the “Fingerprints of the Gods,” states that we are a species with amnesia. However, on a positive note, more and more people are beginning to wake up. We have already witnessed that December 21, 2012 was not the end of the world, as many of the “doom and gloom” crowd predicted. Instead, it represented a big turning point in our evolution.

We are now on the ascending cycle towards full consciousness.

Our Alignment with the Milky Way Galaxy

David Wilcock in his groundbreaking book, “The Source Filed Investigations,” shares an extraordinary finding by Dr. James Spottiswoode:

“The earth’s alignment with the galaxy could create up to a 450 percent increase in psychic accuracy each day—within one hour 13:00 local sidereal time.”

Now, imagine if large groups of people got together to pray or meditate during this daily alignment. I am quite sure that extraordinary things will happen as a result of doing this.

Miracles happen when two or more people are gathered together.

The Lunar Cycle

It is already known that our Moon influences the tides; however, there are also other effects to consider. The Moon also affects our mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being. The ancient Mayans honored the Moon’s 28 day cycle. It is also interesting to note that a woman’s menstrual cycle is roughly 28 days as well. The ancients also knew when to begin projects and when to plant their crops during certain phases of the lunar cycle.

We Live In a Divine Cosmos

I have already shared that Sirius, our galaxy, as well as the moon affects our consciousness. However, we mustn’t forget our Sun and the planets that orbit it. It should be more than obvious that without the Sun there wouldn’t be life on this planet. The Sun not only gives us heat and energy, but it affects our development as well. We can also feel the effects of the planets in our solar system. New research is showing that they are changing. They are becoming more energized, and this in turn, is having a great effect on us.

The Clues Are All Around Us

If we are able to set our ego aside and embrace the treasure of wisdom that our ancient ancestors have left for us, we would discover a world of unlimited potential.

However, we have to let go of our biased belief that our ancestors were idiots, while we are the most intelligent beings that ever existed. With our current technology, we cannot replicate the marvels of Egypt. We are told by mainstream science that the Egyptians built these extraordinary structures with copper tools; and it doesn’t matter how much evidence you share with these closed-minded individuals that proves this to be untrue; they will still stubbornly insist that these were very primitive people that used primitive tools. I find this truly sad, because our ancient ancestors have so much to share with us.

They understood the great celestial cycles.

They understood advanced mathematics.

They knew how to work with energy.

They were in attunement with nature.

They demonstrated Unity Consciousness.

And where only brave scientists and explorers dare to venture, our ancient ancestors lived in a world where science and spirituality spoke the same language.

I had forgotten about the different ages, and how it affects us all. It seems that the Egyptians were far more advanced than we are in the 21st century. We certainly can learn from them!

Very well done, Terry. Will be sharing in Facebook and Pinterest.

Marie, this stuff is very fascinating. I believe there are at least 30 different cultures of the world that knew of these grand cycles. We, indeed, can learn from our wise ancestors. Thank you very much for commenting and sharing it on Facebook and Pinterest. :)

Wow very interesting read I guess we aren't as smart as we like to think we are- or we would know exactly what the pyramids were used for. Thanks for sharing this was a learning hub for me!

Pamela-anne, thank very much for sharing your thoughts. I am proud to announce that there are some curious individuals that are exploring the power of pyramids. In fact, the Russians are building small scaled versions and are blown away at its positive effects. Recently, I read a book entitled "The Psychic Power of Pyramids" by Bill Schul and Ed Pettit. They described their experience in building pyramids, as well as the positive benefits they received from their experiments. The authors even have a chapter in which they tell you how to build a pyramid!
