Analogy With The Law Of The Pendulum
In my blog "Maggie Soy Libre" I was trying to find a moral value with each letter of the alphabet. It was a challenged since it is not easy to find many words in Spanish with some letters like the "w". When I couldn't find a moral value, I took a concept and tried to make an analogy getting a moral value lesson from it. For the letter z I used zahorí, which means a dowser, a clairvoyant, a water diviner or a highly perceptive person. Different devices are used for dowsing. The one that caught my attention was the pendulum.
The pendulum has a law; many things are written about it in terms of physics and other spiritual theories. Galileo Galilei, discovered this law around 1602.
Analogy With The Law Of The Pendulum
Analyzing life while I was observing the pendulum, questions arose such as: Who is directing the pivot of my life? Than as I studied lightly and rapidly the concept of the pendulum the analogy came.
The longer the cord the longer it takes for each oscillation. We all know that postponing things makes worse whatever has to be done, but at the same time postponing is necessary. Even God has lengthened the cord; 2 Peter says: "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
Increasing length by 4 times doubles the period and halves the frequency. In the extremes are the antonyms. What side are you and how long do you stay; do you switch frequently from one side to the other? God understands our human nature in Ecclesiastes 3:1, says: "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven."

The horizontal speed at the bottom is the same as the vertical speed would be if the body had fallen the distance from its highest point. When we lose the connection with God we lose control. Psalm 121:1-2 says: "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
Lessons to grow by
Everything in life has a lesson; use all your senses to see, hear, feel, taste, touch and perceive daily lessons for you to grow.
Blessings to all!
