The Love Of A Christian
How will they know us? By Our Love
I have been online for about 8 years. Jesus is my joy ministries has
been out here about 6 years. I have come across love, hate and so much
more. I have gotten nasty letters from others that claim to be in
Christ. Well lets look at what Jesus did and how he loved us..
How will they know(unbelievers)if we are Christian's? By our love for
each other..If all Christian's can do is put each other down and be mean
and nasty to each other how are the unbelievers of the world going to
know Jesus or have a relationship with him?
Sometimes I think I'll take all my contacts out of my address book
except maybe 20 because I get nasty replies from those who claim to be
christian or claim to be prayer warriors..what would Jesus think of our
behavior?
Jesus loved us because he saw the way we need him, and he saw that we
can do nothing down here without him, and all our words we throw at
others really matter, words can kill out hearts and break us down..let's
see how Jesus handled loving others the way we are suppose to.
John 14:23
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
Jesus says above if anyone loves me he will obey me, that means also to love others the way Christ loved us and loves us.
Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
Love is a big word in the Bible, we are to express our love through
faith because Jesus loves us and faith is given to all who ask for it,
God will give us a measure of it as we ask.
Romans 12:3
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
I think that some christian's may think highly of themselves..just remember you and I are what we are today, because of Christ..and only because of Him..in His love
