The Antichrist Church System: The Orthodoxy of Diotrephes

Organized religion within the realm of “Churchianity” opposes all who defy her ways. They are in direct opposition to the itinerant ministry of the Ekklesia. The orthodoxy of church demands subservience to the confines of the four walls within their denominational name brand. Those among the Ekklesia are free to move within the one universal Body of Jesus Christ with the authority and gifts God has given them to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom anyplace and anywhere God leads them. There is no confinement to one place under the lordship of ecclesiastical men.

The settled denominational churches do not like the Ekklesia ruffling the feathers of the settled congregation, especially when they challenge their man-made traditions with the Word of God. The followers of Jesus Christ are considered heretics for defying the institutionalized orthodoxy of Diotrephes, who is representation of the Antichrist.

The "Invading Wanderer"

The true gospel of the Kingdom must go out and defy the settled congregations of pew-warmers. The “Churchians” consider the Ekklesia a threat and do not welcome, or support them. The opposition comes as a result the Christian duty to defy and confront the corrupt religious system with the authority of God’s Word.

Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are, who testified to your love before the Ekklesia. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore WE OUGHT TO SUPPORT PEOPLE LIKE THESE, THAT WE MAY BE FELLOW WORKERS FOR THE TRUTH. – 3 John 1:5-8

Those among the Ekklesia must support one another as part of the body of Christ as God leads each out into the ministry of the Gospel.

I have written something to the Ekklesia, but DIOTREPHES, WHO LIKES TO PUT HIMSELF FIRST, DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE OUR AUTHORITY. So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, TALKING WICKED NONSENSE AGAINST US. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the Ekklesia. – 1 John 3:9-10

The spirit of Diotrephes wants nothing to do with an “invading wanderer” who is led by the Lord to confront the settled ministries of man-made denominations and traditions. They are deemed as a nuisance and disturbance to their man-given authority. The universal authority of Jesus Christ trumps that of mere entitled men who like to put themselves first. They are to be exposed for their religious works of iniquity.

Origins

The hierarchical structure of the modern church has its early origins from Diotrephes. Essentially, he was the example that proceeded to manifest into the man driven Constantine church system of organized religion that runs rampantly today.

John warns the Ekklesia about these type of men who are Antichrists.

Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that ANTICHRIST is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. -1 John 2:18

Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the ANTICHRIST, he who denies the Father and the Son. – 1 John 2:22

And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST, which you heard was coming and NOW IS IN THE WORLD ALREADY. – 1 John 4:3

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the ANTICHRIST. – 2 John 1:7

It is interesting to note that the Antichrist(s) is mentioned only in the letters from John, which is the precursor to mentioning Diotrephes. It is very disconcerting how many men promote the counterfeit system of church today and are ignorant of this verse,

Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM – 1 John 2:4

"Wherever and whenever this orthodoxy is achieved, God is dead within their midst."
"Wherever and whenever this orthodoxy is achieved, God is dead within their midst."

"Churchianity"

John is speaking of men who are part of “Churchianity” who are completely opposed to the true body of Jesus Christ and those among the Ekklesia. Diotrephes is the symbol of what they are. They seek to be first and demand to have their self-entitled man-given authority over others. These are the characteristics of an Antichrist.

The purpose of the Antichrist is to squash the operation of spiritual gifts among each believer. This is easily done when man is in control within their man-made environments called churches. Within these four walls, it is easy to suppress and prate anyone who does not comply with their mandated denominational mold. It is a two-fold suppression of not welcoming a universal citizen of the Kingdom of God by maliciously opposing anything outside the realm of their denominational umbrella. Second, they suppress any use of spiritual gifts unless they comply with their stringent made-made qualifications through membership ordinations, programs, rituals and certifications. Those who work their way up the ranks of “Churchianity” often exude a dominating personality by wanting to be first and desiring to receive the accolades of men. Wherever and whenever this orthodoxy is achieved, God is dead within their midst.

When the work of the Antichrist is done, all those within the harlot church will oppose all those who are true temples of the Holy Spirit. Their desire for pre-eminence denies the Father and the Son. The Ekklesia become the unwelcomed outlaws who are denied support to do the work of the Lord and are considered outcasts. The fact is, they are not outcasts, but simply have left the confines and oppression of spiritual Babylon and entered into the freedom of the Kingdom of God.

The apostasy is that the delusional masses cannot see anything beyond their carnal distorted denominational lenses.

Sympathy for Diotrephes

The greatest deception within the “Churchian” realm is that the Antichrists look like the good guys, and the Ekklesia look like the bad guys. The indoctrinated “Churchian” opposes the spiritual things for the carnal. They twist Scripture for sole purpose of promoting their flavor of religion. The wide road to destruction is modern organized religion that stems from the seed of Diotrephes, which drove the Early Ekklesia into obscurity around 100 AD. Today, the totalitarian Antichrist war against the remnant of God’s true followers is still raging on. The persecution and battle started when Jesus Christ started building His Ekklesia as spiritual stones.

Many fail to understand that their religious lifestyle is of the Antichrist that sympathizes for men like Diotrephes. The history of what they support and submit to does not render back to Jesus Christ, but men who oppose Him with their allegiance to domineering men .

Those who are truly guided by the Holy Spirit will oppose this great deception. We must take up our swords and speak truth by shining light into the dens of the Antichrist exposing their pre-eminent spirits. They will not like to be told that they are living a lie relying on their worldly strength, power and influence. This is the recipe of every church denomination that exists on the planet today.

The Antichrist system has manifested through the hierarchical structure of the institutionalized corporate run churches that sell their carnal wares for profit promoting their names over Jesus Christ.

Do you have sympathy for Diotrephes and support his ways?

PandN- The video in this article is very discriptive of very single church out there. It just goes to show how much control the clergy maintains over the pew warmers. The example he used of the airplane ride and what he observed during was right on the mark.

I hope people will begin to realize the difference between ekklesia and church. The sooner the better.

Another great article . I just hope many will take the time to read it and take it to heart.

God bless brother

Graceinus,

The difference between the church and ekklesia becomes more clear when we understand that ekklesia is created by Jesus Christ and the church created by men. The early ekklesia was a force to be reckoned for the first hundred years and then went underground due to Roman persecution, but even through persecution Satan could not stomp out the followers of Jesus Christ to extinction. In fact, it is through persecution that the ekklesia become stronger. Today, the remnant are stilled persecuted by the Roman Antichrist church system. Those in "Churchianity" do not tolerate those who question their traditions. When they do, their characters are assassinated.

Every church denomination has been birthed from the establishment of the Constantine system in 313 AD because every one of them are institutional in their approach. Their hierarchical system is unchanged today under the same methods of operation.

I am encouraged that you understand this. We have the truth of God's Word to shine a light into this deception that so many are partakers of.

Those who are a part of "Churchianity" are birthed from the seeds of Diotrephes into the system of Constantine that caters to pagan tradition, buildings and programs led by the salaried synod.

I am glad you are among the ekklesia. Thanks for your encouragement. God Bless.

PandN- I don't expect people to leave their churches in droves, however, as more of the word gets out regarding the difference between the ekklesia and church, I do hope to see those who do leave t become stronger as a voice in the ekklesia. Some do leave their churches, but for the reason that they lost faith. And a very, very few of these who do leave "church" do seek truth on their own and realize to some degree what the "church" has done and will continue to do. It is important that they understand the church is not what was founded by the early apostles, but it was the ekklesia. Many who are dishearted with "church" believe that should they leave the church, then there is nothing else. Not realizing they were in a false institutional system to begin with. I believe this is why article such as this one and others like it need to get out to individuals, not just for them alone but to anyone who is willing to listen. The Kingdom of God is or should be one of the must important issue of the ekklesia. satan has used the churches to undermind truth. No were else is the battle more stronger than between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of darkness. The wage of spiritual battle is between those of the ekklesia and those of churches. It is utmost important that we not give up on spreading the gospel of the Kingdom of God no matter how hard the churches try to stop us.

God bless.

Hi PandN,

Would you consider the modern church as carrying over the teaching of the nicolaitans. Do you think that's where the division started? Just curious.

Lifegate,

Division from God is rebellion, which is believing that worshiping God can be done with man's own philosophies and traditions. The history of Scripture attests to this.

Division started in this way,

“You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But IN VAIN they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” - Matthew 15:7-9

Satan's master deception was creating the church system by using men like Diotrephes to destroy the Ekklesia from the inside. Paul gave clear warning about this,

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” - 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

The god that is worshipped in the church system is Satan's deception; they preach a different gospel in Jesus' name.

Jesus prophesied that this would happen.

And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. - Matthew 24:11

This part of His prophecy has come true, but verse 14 has not. If we want to see revival then we must be obedient and preach the true Gospel, not the counterfeit one. Many have no idea that they are preaching Satan's gospel that draws people into a church building to adhere to a temple system. Satan's system comprises of competing denominations.

Those who don't know how Jesus wants His Ekklesia to be constructed are on the wide road to destruction.

The narrow road consist of people who are small, scattered and persecuted who are hated by "Churchianity."

I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. - John 17:14

Are you hated and persecuted as a follower of Jesus Christ?

How you answer determines what gospel you are preaching.

If you want revival then you will be hated and persecuted for the truth because God's ways are the opposite of what most people want to hear.

((Do you think that's where the division started?))

I believe that division started when it strayed from understanding that the Ekklesia is a single spiritual organism consisting of people who worship the Father as instructed by Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

The early Ekklesia became a remnant because they were seduced away from this. Today, the Ekklesia still exists and you will know them because they still follow the instructions of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. They are on the battleground as witnesses warning of Jesus Christ's return, they are NOT playing church.

My question is,

How many have really spent time doing the research of what the early Ekklesia taught before they choose to attend the corrupt system of men called church? Most have absolutely no idea that the churches they attend have absolutely nothing to do with what the early church taught.

Those who are serious about following Jesus Christ MUST seriously question why there so many different competing churches and philosophies when there is only on universal body of Christ with one vision and doctrine. Every church brand of "Churchianity" believes that their way is the entrance to the Kingdom of God, but ALL of them are on the wide road to destruction.

They say they believe in God and the Bible, but really they believe what their pastor tells them and parrot what He says rather than allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them to truth.

The true Ekklesia that Jesus Christ built is alive today and holds to the examples set in the New Testament.

The Ekklesia are in one accord with Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God has no division. There are those that are either in it, or not. Without the Holy Spirit, it does not matter what you do in Jesus' name because it is ALL in vain.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever - John 14:15-16

The Ekklesia has the same Spirit, goals, vision, doctrine and objectives as Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Those who differ serve Satan.

"The spirit of Diotrephes"

It truly is a spirit, although you can find a physical person behind the podium. I have noticed that the smart "Diotrephes" doesn't have to say a word today. Should something that is going on in the local mega church make the news pointing out a questionable items, all of the followers defend to the death their "Diotrephes". I have yet to have one institutional believer show me scripture that says they should tithe their money. If Diotrephes says give money it must be so. Once the money starts rolling in anything goes, and does. 40 years ago I would not have believed what is going on in the name of Jesus today. The prognosis is that it is fatal and will only get worse. Anyone that answers the question "who is your pastor?" with anyone besides Jesus, has a Diotrephes controlling them. May he strengthen us and turn up the wick on our lamps so others might see the light.

Rich,

The followers of the puplit peacock, Diotrephes are just parrots who say "amen" no matter what he says. As he quotes Scripture out of context, it spreads through the controlled mindless drones within "Chrurchianity" as the religious blight of the antichrist spirit manifests within their midst.
