The Spirit of God Revealed

There are many mysteries in this world,

that a simple man can't solve,

Where did we all come from,

and too, what makes this world revolve?

Did we evolve into the smiling faces,

that are worn by you and by me,

What purpose did our creator have,

in his making of one simple tree?

Must the shortest distance be made,

in the drawing of one straight line,

What makes the rains to fall, the lightning,

and the bright sun to shine?

When we must die, where do we all go,

and if heaven, where in the sky,

Do we all live but one life on this earth,

or come back again, by and by?

Did our God make us all to look like him,

or in His image, as it was so told,

How did seas part for the prophet Moses,

and for his people in times of old?

Across the desert sands from Jerusalem,

and to the West banks of Jericho,

Marvelous scriptures tell the story there,

so that all of this world is to know.

Who is the Holy Spirit that is our God,

That He has placed within each one,

In giving us a chance to follow Him,

and that He did send His his only son?

Some mysteries are solved within the quest,

with the questions that we ask,

Answers may come to those who search,

in a removing of their God's mask.

Some things were not meant for us to know ,

then, each riddle or mystery, not solved,

No man who walks upon this fine green earth,

But only as faith, has the answer, in their resolve.
