The Spirit of Jesus Christ

Knowing why we see these colours does not detract from their beauty

We see through a glass but darkly -true as far as our knowledge of WHAT IS is concerned. But our eyes do let us behold great beauty. We only have to halt our ceaseless mind chatter for a while to take a look.

How can one mind receive and process so much?

Can the Spirit of Jesus Christ really answer the prayers of millions?

Throughout the centuries countless thousands of Christians have said that their prayers have been answered directly by Jesus Christ. This is still happening and, with the billions of people alive in the world today, one begins to wonder that if so many prayers are answered, then Jesus is certainly ‘spreading Himself a little thin.’ For with so many people, there must be hundreds, if not thousands of prayers all being presented to Jesus at the same time. How could one mind pick up and respond to so many?

Radiant light is one way of showing universal perception

It is not easy - for me, anyway - to describe how there are no borders or boundaries except those which our senses decree and which we accept as true - thus creating our own limitations.
It is not easy - for me, anyway - to describe how there are no borders or boundaries except those which our senses decree and which we accept as true - thus creating our own limitations.

The Universal Mind is of infinite depth containing all

This, of course, brings smiles of derision from the non-believers. “It’s just not possible.” They say. Even those who do believe in Jesus Christ as being the ‘Son of God’ must wonder about this, too. So I’d like to explain how it has been explained to me. And this applies not only to great religious masters such as Jesus of Nazareth, or Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha) or many persons of great accomplishment. Even ordinary, average people can radiate the messages in their hearts and minds to many.

We are all part of The One, but to experience the greater we must be lesser. To experience we need contrast and relativity

You see, at the deeper levels of our subconscious mind we are all linked together. Just as individual icebergs float in an interconnecting sea, or dispersed clouds are linked by the invisible water vapour in the atmosphere, we are not separate at all – not deep down where it really counts. We are all part of The One. But to explain a little further:

We see the beauty of emanations but there are many that come to us through senses of which we are unconconscious

Many explanations came through Automatic Writing

Way back in the early 1970s I wrote a book called Ghost Guidance and Automatic Writing. This was written from a compilation of the hundreds of thousands of words I had received via Automatic Writing, a skill (or a gift) I had discovered and improved upon since the end of 1968. The original manuscript was kept and additions and amendments made over time until the final draft appeared about ten years back.

We straddle multiple dimensions in both life and death - we always ARE. Forms arise and pass away. The Observer remains

Today, I opened that book at random and came across a passage which triggered this particular Hub. I realize from Hub’s ‘Questions & Answer Pages’ that there is a great deal of interest in Spirituality on the site, so I’m thinking that what I say here might bring some enlightenment to those who doubt that Jesus – or anyone else’s attention for that matter, who now reside in spirit – can be in more than one place at the same time. Here is how it was put to me by my spiritual guide, UR.

How beautiful this little blue chip in space we call our earthly home

The Universal Spirit we call God answers to any label we give Her/Him/It

The Spirit of Jesus Christ

“If you could only understand that when we reach a certain level of development that we can be in several places at once with various parts of our minds. Your contact was only one minute part of the great man’s unconscious thought. (I’d earlier been contacted by a now dead world famous leader) UR continues:

“Let me give you the following analogy:

But how many 'Earthly (to others perhaps) homes are contained in this galaxy?

Where did we get this silly idea that in this vast and visible universe we beings living in human form are somehow special?
Where did we get this silly idea that in this vast and visible universe we beings living in human form are somehow special?

Communication also occurs below the conscious level where our individual egoes do not get in the way

“If you look up at the night sky on a clear night you would see a lot of stars. But the overall effect would be that of a lighted sky. Light would be shed upon the earth. So, too, it is with the human mind. Each point of light is a consciousness of itself – the overall effect of the emanation of millions of stars. You are receiving messages from all points of light at the one time, but you select unconsciously those that radiate at the same wavelength of your eyesight. All the rest go unnoticed. But their effect is felt by you anyway. Whether you realize it or not. The unconscious parts of you are receiving them. So, too, it is with communication between men. The unconscious receives its messages as well – continuously.”

Infinite, interpenitrating fields across infinite dimensions and universes contain all and everthing. We are linked through many dimensions

Now, if we liken that overall starlight to a quality emanating from millions of people, and let us say that that quality is compassion, then there is an awful lot of compassion permeating the atmosphere in which we live. We might call this ‘the Love of God,’ or ‘Jesus answering our prayers,’ both individually and collectively. There is an infinite field containing every emotion, every thought, all knowledge, ideas and ideals extant throughout a limitless number of illimitable universes. All of this comprises every thing and everything that ever was, is now, and ever will be. This ALL is what we are a part of. This All is God and we are a part of it. If you can get this…even a little bit, it will change your understanding of what and who you. And once that happens you’ll find that your life will change in ways it has never changed before.

You don’t need to lay aside your credulity. You do need, however, to be willing to have an open mind.

Tom, I grew up in a very religious household, attended Church every Sunday, studied in a Catholic Convent for 12 years, served as organist for three churches, and learned to love the music and the rituals. Today I never associate myself with any of them. Why? Because I feel religion has been badly corrupted, misinterpreted and misused. I even had doubts about Christianity, that is until I visited Israel some years ago, and came away with the conviction that a man named Jesus Christ did indeed exist and felt the same emotions and feelings as any of us.

That still did not and has not convinced me I should attend churches and I do not.

Your HUB is profound and convincing. That is all I can say.

Pennypines, it is always a pleasure to hear from you. Yes, there has always been a considerable rift in the interpretation of what is meant by being 'spiritual' and being 'religious.' This is not to say that many religious people are not genuinely 'spiritual.' Lots of them are. But, as JC Himself said. "By their actions ye will know them." So we can see that many of them are not.
