The Twenty Third Psalm and Vivaldi's Four Seasons

Vivaldi's music, Nature images, Biblical poetry

What I have tried to do with this hub is share the beauty of Vivaldi's music, with an affirmation of the beauty of the Twenty Third Psalm and the opportunity to view images of nature. My own form of three D I imagine.

The 23rd Psalm is a comforting psalm which reminds us that God cares for us and desires to give us good things. When we look around us, and experience the beauty, we affirm these gifts and the Creator.

God cares for us, for our soul, for our body, and this music is something I am thankful for.

The 23rd Psalm in NIV (New International Version)

Psalm 23 (New International Version)

Psalm 23

A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
       he leads me beside quiet waters,

 3 he restores my soul.
       He guides me in paths of righteousness
       for his name's sake.

 4 Even though I walk
       through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
       I will fear no evil,
       for you are with me;
       your rod and your staff,
       they comfort me.

 5 You prepare a table before me
       in the presence of my enemies.
       You anoint my head with oil;
       my cup overflows.

 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
       all the days of my life,
       and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

The 23rd Psalm shows us the Shepherd's Heart

We can trust God to take care of us. He is a God who knows our needs. He protects us. He gives us food and drink. He leads us to places we can rest.

Entwining the 23rd psalm with Vivaldi's "Spring" and "Autumn" is genius! Your hub transports me back to childhood, where I first encountered this beloved psalm as well as Vivaldi's "Four Seasons." Thank you!
