Thought of the day (14)
Thought of the day: Is there such thing as having a broken heart? Yes, but not in the way we think. A broken heart comes from putting all our trust, heart, belief, etc... on something or someone other than God. That something or someone is not the thing that breaks your heart. It is in fact the absence of being reliant on Christ. A heart broken because of being misplaced on worldly and noneternal things or people and not on they perfect and eternal God who loves us unconditionally. It is vital to put all your hope and trust in Christ first.
It's also important to see that, the biggest heart break does not come from you or the other thing/person involved, but from God. When we don't fully rely on him, and lean more on others, His heart breaks for we serve a Jealous God. A God who longs for our hearts, hope, and love to be set on Him. Put God first no matter what your involved with, or who your involved with, and lean fully on Him, and regardless of what happens, you can know God and his perfect plan for you remains the same. Praise God who we can rely on 100% through anything and he will never fail for He is the same yesterday as today and will be for all our days to come!
My prayer for you today is that you can lift all your feelings, stress, and life to God, and that you can set your heart on Him. I pray that you can find rest and hope in this unconditional Love and His overwhelmingly peaceful presence. Finally, I pray that you can realize the source of pain in your life, and come back to and fall into the healing a life set on God provides.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
"In everything you do , put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success."
Psalms 37: 5
"Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him to help you do it, and He will."
Matthew 11: 28-29
"Come to me and I will give you rest -- all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke -- for it fits perfectly -- and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls;"
