Tired Yet?

The forever track with a destination the same as the starting line, is a course run by a mortal racing to the finish.  Knowing the distance, training for endurance, visualizing the finish line and victory, are components needing focus.  How about it, when you realize, you have been placed in a race having no material finish.  That you have run until exhausted trying to figure out the point in it all.

Vessel

Our earthen vessel began, and will be complete with God our creator. He placed us in this life. Being as clay not making it yet to the kiln, we are still under formation, still in the race.

Feelings of defeat surrounding your thoughts, running but not getting close, just out of reasoning you think, what am I racing to?  You’ve had the material gain or not, your health is good or not, your family is around you or not, your career is solidified or not.  None of this helps when you realize your strength, your endurance; your cup is lacking and will never be full without His hand.

Purpose

The day when you ask, “what has all this been for, and why am I here?”  Waiting and listening for the answer will enlightened you. “I am here to bring glory to the Lord, to share His love with everyone who is burdened in the current phase of their life, running a race but struggling in the shadows, helping them to their finish.”

Each of us has a purpose for every breath we are granted. Our life is that dependent. We can be so powerful in earthly position or weak in stature, yet, we are nothing without the breath of life, which can be gone in an instant. When our race is over, no longer a participant, do we see the finish line when our time here on earth is done? How can we answer yes if our life comes to an abrupt end, or if terminally ill, yet no one can give you a definitive time for departure?

Is your cup half full or half empty?

Competition

The race while living we compete against ourselves. When we realize the meaning, embrace the objective, for a finish although unseen till we depart, imparts wisdom and belief which brings us closer to understanding. The race you set your sights on is of course, the upward call from God. It is a race between self, and the divine call to be one in Him. He knows our worth, He paid the price.  Live and listen to your heart through the Spirit.  The value of each life will be revealed through your trust in being led and fed. Your cup runs over when His will be done.

“Life is temporal, our purpose is eternal. It is when we recognize the reason, determine how we run, and then will be revealed to us, our finish at the beginning of our eternity.”  Timely

As it is written...

The race is not to the swift,

Nor the battle to the strong,

Nor bread to the wise,

Nor riches to men of understanding

Nor favor to men of skill.

But time and chance happen to them all.

For man also does not know his time;

Like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time.

When it falls suddenly upon them.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us an let us run with endurance the race that is se before us.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross despising the shame and has set down at the right hand of the throne of God

Hebrews 12:1, 2

Timely,

This hub is so uplifting, and full of wisdom for those of us "snared in an evil time". I now know that weariness, but this hub was a bit of rest for my spirit. Thank you.

Thank you for a great Hub. Your words speak truth which both encourages & challenges.

"We can be so powerful in earthly position or weak in stature, yet, we are nothing without the breath of life, which can be gone in an instant." Well said.

SpaceAge, thank you for stopping by. Try to keep a focus on the fact our earthly time clock really is non existant to God. He has His own timing and reasoning. Try to learn from your past, anticipate the hope in your future and pray for His will in your life. Give Him control.

Bless you and keep the faith!

yes, i think we'd ALL been tired @ some point. i'd been called of God 2 B a wife & mother, & bear a son named Isaac. however, that was a decade ago. nothing happened. i was 1'st called by God when i was 23. it's been a total of 2 decades. i wasn't ready back then, & b'n new 2 the faith i didn't think it was even God back in 1990. 10 yrs passed & God repeated Himself, but again, i didn't think it was Him til 1 day i just couldn't fight it any more & i started asking God if these visions of the man i'm 2 marry were even from Him. lo & behold, they WERE! ALL of them back 2 1990! however, time passed & nothing happened. i'd been in the gradual process of letting go & giving up on it many yrs now. i eventually got 2 the point that i didn't even want it anymore. i then prayed 4 God 2 shut the door. i started by asking God 2 change my path. i asked Him 2 plz remove ALL future pregnancies from my future due 2 how i now know just how bad women have it in pregnancy, labor, & delivery. tho i know God promised that when the day came i'd have a painlessly ez birthing, i don't know that i won't have some sort of pain elsewhere in the process. however, it was a HUGE loss, but God shut that door. the next day, i also had Him shut the door 2 the man i was 2 marry b/c it's just been waaaaaaaay 2 long & i'd waited long enough; i'd also suffered long enough. it's been a total of 2 whole decades altogether. i spoke of how the man He revealed has free will, & that his family never liked me anyway. i'd suffered enough, & i'd decided 2 move on in life w/o that man. God had shut that door. it was no big loss as when the door 2 children was shut @ my request. i'm now moving on like a bus that can only wait so long B4 it MUST move. i prayed 2 God that i really DO want 2 B married, but i can't wait 4-ever
