Tourmaline And Its Magical Properties
Tourmaline is a special stone with many different colors. I have not written about this stone yet and I figure that it deserves to be written about. There are many different magical properties, each different with different colors. And some that any color can help with.
In ancient times tourmaline was believed to be a stone that glowed with its own energy because the stone became electrically charged when ever anyone applied friction to it.
In Ancient Egypt there was a story that the stone collected all the colors of the rainbow when it made the trip from the earth towards the sun.
While each color has a list of properties that each can do there are properties that apply to any color of the stone. Tourmaline is a stone of beauty. It can be used to refresh and find joy as well as friendship. It may also be used for grounding and protection. It's said that this stone may also help calm someone and attract goodwill as well as self confidence. It is also a stone of inspiration. All tourmaline stones can be used to help amplify psychic energies.
Black tourmaline can be used to redirect restlessness into productivity. Blue can help clear speech, unblock the mind as well as emotions. Green/Black tourmaline can be used in anything to do with prosperity and to deflect negative energies. Green tourmaline can be used to promote a good life force. It is a soothing color and also refreshing. It's also great for setting reasonable goals. Pink tourmaline can help encourage creativity and free personality. The watermelon colored tourmaline can encourage practical approach to manifesting ideas. And a combination of pink and watermelon can help with self understanding.
As with any other magical property to tourmaline the healing properties of the stone can also differ depending on the color. Green tourmaline is said to regulate blood pressure and aid in heart health as well as your nervous system. This color of stone is also said to aid in digestion and strengthen the immune system.
Black tourmaline is said to protect someone from high radiation and has a positive effect on the body's loco motor system. It may also strengthen muscle.
Blue tourmaline can combat water retention and promote detoxifying of the entire body. This color may also help strengthen the immune system. It may help reduce throat and bronchial infections.
Watermelon colored tourmaline may help alleviate pain, protect your nerve cells and even help with your immune system as well.
Note that I still suggest you get help from a doctor before using crystal healing. You may even want to use crystal healing on top of what your doctor is doing for you. That's what I do. I am not a doctor, let's make that clear. So I always note that you should check with your doctor first.
I find Tourmaline to be an interesting stone mainly because of the color variations. Hopefully by reading this you may see as well that it is indeed a beautiful stone. Even if you don't believe in crystal healing or magic, you can at least admit to yourself that this stone is absolutely unique.
