Trusting & Waiting
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest . Joshua 1:9
The bible tells us to be strong, of good courage and not to be afraid. It also says that God is with us wherever we go. If you are going through something right now and it feels like God isn’t involved just remember He is there and trust Him. You might be asking God, “why me”? Or maybe you think you are being punished for some past sin. Remember that you are forgiven and try to be strong and of good courage. Don’t be dismayed or distressed. Often times we need to change the way we think. Instead of why me, we could ask God what his plans are for us. If we stop trusting God it means we are disobeying God. Besides what else are you going to do? Trust people? Trust in science? God has more authority over our problems than anything else. Like the hymn lyrics say trust and obey, there is no other way. God is faithful and always keeps His word.
