Under Pressure

Battle Winds

IN THE MIDST OF FIERCE BATTLE-

I BRACE MYSELF FOR THE WINDS OF HURRICANES.

MY SPIRIT IS BEING PRESSED UPON-

I CAN FEEL MY ARMOR BEING STRUCK, OVER & OVER.

I TAKE A DEEP BREATH AS I SEE I NEED NOT TAKE ONE MORE STEP

UNTIL I REINFORCE MY ARMOR.

ONE WRONG MOVE IN THIS ATTACK OF SPIRITUAL DARKNESS

COULD ABORT MY MISSION FOR THE KING.

MAKING ME SETTLE FOR LESS-

I WILL NOT ACCEPT DEFEAT.

THE WINDS WILL NOT MOVE ME.

In A Tornado

I AM STANDING STILL AND

NOW THE DARKNESS IS TRYING TO CALL ME OUT,

TO TAKE ME OUT.

PRESSING MY MIND, EMOTIONS-

TRYING TO OVERTURN MY ENDURANCE.

SETTING TRAPS BEFORE MY EYES AND

WATCHING TO SEE IF I'LL TRIP THE WIRE.

AS IT TRIES TO WRAP CORDS AROUND ME-

I KNOW I HAVE TO BREAKOUT OF THIS WITH HUGE STRIDES AHEAD-

THROUGH ALL THE TUGGING AND PULLING OF WAR.

Though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.> Ps 37:24

Evil Striking

I CAN SEE THE EVIL SPIRITS OVER AND OVER-

TRYING TO DIVIDE AND CONQUEROR THROUGH INSTIGATED STRIFE.

WITH THIS IN SIGHT-

I KNOW I CAN'T STOP NOW- I HAVE TO FINISH THIS RACE.

I DO NOT DOUBT MY GOD-

BUT I DO NOT WANT THE NAGGING OF GIVE UP, GET FRUSTRATED AND STOP TO TAUNT ME ANYMORE.

THIS IS NOT MY HEART'S DESIRE TO TURN AND FLEE FROM MY FAITHFUL GOD.

I JUST DON'T LIKE THE PRESSURE OF THE CHALLENGE ERECTED BY THE ENEMY TO TRY TO PULL ME AWAY FROM GOD.

I REFUSE, I AM KICKING AND SCREAMING AGAINST IT ALL!

NO I WILL NOT SURRENDER TO YOUR INSULTS, I WILL COMPLETE MY MISSION IN JESUS NAME.

EVEN IF THE GATES OF HELL TRY TO PREVAIL, I WILL CONTINUE TO TRUST AND CALL ON JESUS-HE HAS ALREADY DEFEATED HELL AND EVIL.

Persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.> 2 Cor 4:9

For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.> Pro 24:16

Do you ever feel like you are supposed to be doing something and you can't sit still?

  • As boredom comes and insists on declaring to you, you need to be in action. Do something instead of sit there. Time going by slowly and nothing is being done with that lost time.

With no rhythm or rhyme I'm just waving good bye to my time.

Time is not on our side, what a lie about time.

Having a desire to fill up my time.

Not with mere busyness, but about His kingdom business.

With every minute spent a seed well sowed.

I'm feeling like I'm on the mark getting set to go.

God give me a green light, so I can go with all my might.

My spirit is all stirred up, wanting your will to burst forth.

Your waters are pressing my heart, almost time to start.

42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

43And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

45And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

46And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.> Luke 22

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.> 2 Cor 8:9

Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered> Heb 5:8

In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.> Heb 12:4

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.> Heb 12:2

Stand And Keep Standing

SPRITUAL WARFARE IS NOT EASY-

WITH EACH ROUND HAS ONLY A SEASON.

EVEN THOUGH IT MAY MAKE ME FEEL DRAINED AT TIMES-

I MUST ENTER INTO HIS PRESENCE.

IT'S SO HARD TO PRESS IN AND PRAY, PRAISE AND WORSHIP WHEN THE PRESSURE OF THE SPIRITUAL ATTACKS SEEM TO BE COMING FULL FORCE.

IT FEELS LIKE THE ATTACK IS AGAINST YOUR VERY SOUL-

TRYING TO INFLICT ANGUISH, ANGUISH IN MY HEART.

ALWAYS REMEMBERING JESUS SWEAT GREAT DROPS OF BLOOD WHILE RESISTING THE TEMPTATION OF NOT GOING TO THE CROSS.

SO WHAT NEXT? (>> read right column>>)

I WILL AND DO SAY- I CHOOSE TO LIVE AND NOT DIE!

I WILL AND DO LIFT UP HANDS IN PRAISE AND WORSHIP

AS MY HANDS ARE RAISED AND MY MOUTH CRIES OUT IN WORSHIP TO MY GOD-

MY ENEMIES FALL DOWN AND FLEE.

THEY CAN NOT WITHSTAND GOD'S PRESENCE THAT IS STIRRED AND INVITED IN WHILE WE ARE PRAISING GOD. THE ANGELS COME AND DRIVE THEM ALL AWAY.

THOSE CHAINS COULD NOT REMAIN.

I HAVE CALLED ON JESUS

I WILL NOT LEAVE HIS PRESENCE- I WILL RECEIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL RESTORATION AND HIS PEACE WILL CONTINUE TO REST UPON.

AS I PRAY GOD IT IS YOU WHO CAUSES YOUR SERVANT TO STAND AND I PRAY THAT YOU CAUSE YOUR SERVANTS TO STAND INCLUDING ME IN JESUS NAME.

He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.> Ps 18:17

Sacrifice

I GIVE MY LIFE AS A SACRIFICE-\TO GOD WHICH IS HOLY AND HONORABLE.

I WILL FULFILL THAT WHICH GOD HAS CALLED AND PREORDAINED ME TO DO.

BY HIS SPIRIT CAN AND WILL I WALK THIS OUT.

ALTHOUGH IT MAY SEEM TO COST ME EVERYTHING.

IT IS GOOD TO SERVE THE LORD.

THE STAND FOR CHRIST IS NOT IN VAIN.

THE PERSECUTION , DEMONIC ATTACKS ARE INEVITABLE IN AVOIDING.

GOD REIGNS OVER ALL - IT IS NOT GOD'S WILL FOR ME TO FALL.

BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND MY TESTIMONIES, AND THE WHOLE BODY OF CHRIST COMING TOGETHER IN ONE ACCORD- WE WILL OVERCOME THE WORLD- GREATER IS HE THAT IS WITHIN US THEN HE SATAN THAT IS IN THE WORLD.

Under pressure, above pressure, pushing through the pressure

Hi! I'm going to write here a little on what it's like being under pressure, seeming to be under attack from all sides. About freezing motionless when you know what to do. How you have to push even when it feels like you've been knocked to the ground.

I've noticed lately going on for a while actually, that satan has been trying to wear me out and frustrate me.

When we get wore out our defenses that we had intact are not being done consistently anymore because of drawing back and doing less.

First if we can just be made so busy trying to put out little fires to say and we start to forget to pray that much. If we don't stay prayed up and continue to keep others that God has laid on our hearts prayed over the enemy will start to gain ground.

We must no matter how tried or stressed pray even if attacked do not stop praying. This is very vital to keep our homes, families communities and others covered by the blood of Jesus. Also to keep the enemy bound up and God's will done by us praying as He has already said to do and requested for intercessors to pray for His will on earth. So prayer affects a lot more people than ourselves.

Than while under attack with all the pressure it brings here comes this slugish feeling that makes me feel depressed. I hear the word of God keeps rising up in me, you need to read the Bible, praise and worship. Remember for the spirit of heaviness put on the garment of praise and it will leave. But I just lay there motionless, telling myself I just don't want to do this for one day I'm tired.

To tell the truth I have never gotten stronger waiting and doing nothing. Everything just gets worse. Next thing you know for a week or two I wasn't reading much or praying, kinda like I was just thinking about what I should be doing but choosing not to.

God does speak to us during these times. We just don't forget.

Anyone that is wanting to fulfill and finish the call God has on there life can not stay in this postion for long or it can cause problems and back fire. You will end up having to push through the pressure whether it is an internal or external attack. The longer you wait the weaker you will feel.

Then we are more prone to speak things against God's will and against what we have prayed for. If we did not guard what God has gave us and stay in faith, we can not stand, we will fall period.

While I'm Waiting

If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! > Proverbs 24:10

Rescue the Perishing

10 If you fall to pieces in a crisis,

there wasn't much to you in the first place.

11-12 Rescue the perishing;

don't hesitate to step in and help.
If you say, "Hey, that's none of my business,"
will that get you off the hook?
Someone is watching you closely, you know—
Someone not impressed with weak excuses. Proverbs 24:10-12 (The Message)

Even if it hurts

By standing firm you will gain life.> Luke 21:19

We are going to have to learn what it means to buffet our bodies. So what does it mean? Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.> 1 Cor 9:25

No, I keep my body in control and disciplined, making it serve me so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified.

American Standard Version-but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

GOD'S WORD-Rather, I toughen my body with punches and make it my slave so that I will not be disqualified after I have spread the Good News to others.

King James Bible- But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.> I Cor 9:27

(verb) buffet, knock about, batter

strike against forcefully

"Winds buffeted the tent"

(verb) buffet, buff

strike, beat repeatedly

"The wind buffeted him"

(verb) buffet

a blow with the hand; a slap on the face; a cuff

(verb) buffet

a blow from any source, or that which affects like a blow, as the violence of winds or waves; a stroke; an adverse action; an affliction; a trial; adversity

The strength of the word buffet shows how we are supposed to force ourself to do what is right no matter how we feel. It also represents a battle, a pressure against us to stop the call has on our life.

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.> 1 Peter 5:8

This Bible scripture shows it is God allowing it but it is for us to stay in faith and to hold on to him. Also to not forget it is because God you are here and only by his strength and us trusting him you will fulfill the call on your life and receive the blessings and promises.

So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.> 2 Cor 12:7-10

All pressure isn't bad. But no pressure is comfortable to any of us. God wants us to turn all pressure into getting closer to Him.

When it first starts feeling like a heavy spirit or evil spirit is on you, that's when we need to pay close attention and get closer to God. We should not wait until we are down and flat on our face and so miserable that now we're willing to do anything to get out of the mess. We should always be taking steps to prevent us from falling and stay close to God no matter what it costs.

God does restore us stubborn people that refuse to listen at times and end up in a rut from the lack listening to God. We do know that no attack can run full course in your life if you obey God. Rebellion allows satan to come in and more we do in the middle of these attacks to rebel, the more we give satan to steal kill and destroy.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.> James 4:7

Don't cease to pray to God when their storms brewing all around you- that's when we have to step it up and read more, pray more, praise God more, listen to the Holy Spirit.

What I mean by some pressure isn't bad- if we never had any pressure put on us we wouldn't do more than we had to, to get by. We never welcome change or challenge ourselves to expect more out our lives and out of God. If we aren't under some sorta of pressure how and why would we need endurance and faith for? After all the Bible does say pick up your cross and follow me- to bare the cross of Jesus is also feeling the same pressures that came against Him from sin and it's temptations. Also by faith we are to be walking in His resurrection power in His authority.

If their was no challenge or even a spiritual war taking place there would be no need for us to be put the battle field and to pray for God's will and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus. We are here for a reason and we must never forget that God is the one that causes us to stand. God never wants us to fall, He wants us to be made stronger so we can endure all that is coming. Without any resistance that would put pressure on us we would have nothing to provoke us to push through and press closer to God. There has to be some sort of movement in our lives to cause us to know we need to press into God and trust Him at all times. We have to be made aware of the constant spiritual battle taking place in this world and learn how to stand in and through all trials and tribulations.

With all our heart, soul, mind and body we are to serve God. Self control and obedience are not always easy but you'll be thanking God that you did because you can count on God to be faithful. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.> Eph 4:14

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;>James 1:7

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?> Rom 8:35

Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed.> 2 Cor 13:7

The Servant's Obedience

- Isaiah 50:4-10                                                                                                                         4 The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue,                                                to know the word that sustains the weary.

He wakens me morning by morning,

wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.

5 The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears,

and I have not been rebellious;

I have not drawn back.

6 I offered my back to those who beat me,

my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;

I did not hide my face

from mocking and spitting.

7 Because the Sovereign LORD helps me,

I will not be disgraced.

Therefore have I set my face like flint,

and I know I will not be put to shame.

8 He who vindicates me is near.

Who then will bring charges against me?

Let us face each other!

Who is my accuser?

Let him confront me!

9 It is the Sovereign LORD who helps me.

Who is he that will condemn me?

They will all wear out like a garment;

the moths will eat them up.

10 Who among you fears the LORD

and obeys the word of his servant?

Let him who walks in the dark,

who has no light,

trust in the name of the LORD

and rely on his God.That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.> 2 Cor 12:10

Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;> Rom 5:3

And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.> 2 Cor 5:15

For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to serve you.> 2 Cor 13:4

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].> Eph 6:9-12

Go hard or go home

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?> 2 Cor 13:5

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.> Matt 5:12

Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;> 2 Cor 6:4

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.> Heb 10:3

because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.> James 1:3

Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything>

My heart, my heart--I writhe in pain! My heart pounds within me! I cannot be still. For I have heard the blast of enemy trumpets and the roar of their battle cries.> Jer 4:19

Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?> 1 Cor 14:8

Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules.> 2 Timothy 2:5

Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.> Heb 10:32

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.> James 1:12

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.> 2 Tim 4:7-8

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.> 1 Peter 5:4

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.> Rev 2:10

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.> Rev 3:11

You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.> James 5:8

Nicely done. Spiritual warfare is a battle best left for Jesus. Simply trust in Him and Our Father, they will protect.

What a powerful hub! Yes we must push and press our way through the enemy attack. We must pray without ceasing as well as watch to be alert to the schemes of the devil. Thanks for sharing. Give God the highest praise!
