What Does the Bible Say About Contentment? Bible Verses About Being Content

Contentment is something that is hard to achieve. When we are content, we are happy and satisfied with what God has given us. However, contentment does not mean being complacent, neither does it mean being conceited.

In this hub, I have searched for Bible Verses that talk about contentment. Most of these verses are from the NIV, New International Version. I encourage you to look up these verses in their context should you seek to understand them deeper.

I really enjoyed reading your hub because you are speaking about contentment, and that is what Jesus wants....for us to be content with what He provides....whether we are struggling with hardly anything or we have plenty, whether we are healthy or we are ill....yes, in all things we need to be content and thankful at all times....also, God gives us His Peace and Joy no matter what we are going through, when we belong to Him and ask Him to carry our burdens! My Lord Jesus has brought me a long way because I used to be worried about everything, but since I am come to know His Heart and His great Love for me, I have been content in all circumstances, and this is a miracle!........

God bless you Charlotte for writing this & take care,

Helen

FROM: WATERSTAR The world we Live in is full of unrest and to be truly be content in anything you must have peace of heart and peace of mind if you can truly say you are contented in this evil and murderous society and that you feel very safe you and your Children and future Grandchildren then you are Living in the 17 Century and still riding in a buggy and horse drawn cart, True contentment is not a whole lot of money$ but rather knowing you have a Loving relation ship with Jesus Christ by accepting Jesus as your Lord and still Living for Him and how do we do that Well go to the Bible and read acts of the apostles Chapter 2 verse 38 and start from there when you do what His apostles tell you to do in obedience to God word you then can take true comfort and real contentment that in the very near future you will spend all of Eternity in joy and safety peace and Love with God wonderful Family where you will never die that is true Hope and true Contentment the Earth is a Rumbling The Rapture is near Jesus his Coming soon go to a Holy Ghost Church and get yourself ready it Glory time so indeed be content with your small paycheque don't envy the rich and wealthy the more money you have the more Headache and a whole Lot of friends who really don't Love you only your money $ so be a happy person with a whole Lot of Love for everybody. Heaven door is open to the Faithfull Humble Believers that Love God. so be kind to others for Love is the fullfillment of the whole Law. Love is still the answer.BY: WATERSTAR
