What Is Your Vision

He Walks The Dark Hills

Christian Insight

Let’s now take a close look at vision.

Vision is deep within you and will help steer you to the goals that God has set for your life.

It is the idea that is always flashing in your mind. It is the dream that doesn’t seem to go away. It is a passion that drives you and keeps you thinking about what you want to accomplish in the Kingdom of God.

These desires were placed in you by God and you will never get away from what God has placed in your heart to do.

God has a season and appointed times for different portions of your vision to be accomplished. Can you hear the cry deep within your heart that says, "I was born to do something and I must fulfill that cry"?

There is something deep within us being called by eternity. That is why I ask people who come to me for specific prayer this question.

“How is the Kingdom of God to benefit from this request?

God gives from Eternity that it might benefit his purpose.

A good example would be the cry of Hanna who was a woman in love with her husband. She wanted some fruit to show her husbands love for her. She asked God for a child and she promised to give him back to the Lord after he was weaned from his mother.

Let’s look at this and see why the Living God granted her request. She was a daughter of Abraham and God promised Abraham that his seed would be blessed and be as the sand by the sea. Hannah was barren and needed a son and God needed a prophet because the word of the Lord was shut up in those days because of the sin brought upon the people by the sons of Eli the priest.

Can you hear the deep calling unto the deep? This is because what God put in you is being called by eternity. The vision God placed in us is what some might say, a small piece of eternity to be brought forth in our allotted time here on this planet.

What God has placed in our heart is a piece of what is in his heart. When we have discovered our own vision, we will not be envious or jealous of another person because there will be no competition.

My Conclusion

The scriptures teach that the church is to be a unified body consisting of many members and each member has its on unique function within the body.

Dear reader, no one else can accomplish what God placed in your heart to do.

We must be persistent in achieving the visions God has placed in us.

When we make up our mind to fulfill our vision, we can expect opposition from the enemy of our souls to try and steer us off course. This is why we must make plain the vision and then be persistent in obtaining it.

We need to let every opposition strengthen us and use every failure as experience and steeping stones to give us more determination to meet our goals.

We need to be bold as a lion and harmless as a dove in our Christian pilgrimage.

People with a determination to walk this walk of faith will be persistent in their walk and never take no for an answer to fulfilling their visions.

We need to fight until we get a breakthrough and experience the joy of the Lord who is with us encouraging us to meet our purpose and fulfill our dreams.

The joy of the Lord is our strength and God’s vision in our heart is stronger than any darkness the enemy may bring
