What Love would do for you
Inside each of us there is a strength that cannot be seen by another person. I will use my own personal example. I never looked at myself as an athlete, because I did not get paid participate in athletic events. I always had a purpose behind the event in my heart as the source of my motivation.
The first major accomplishment as a runner was running the Boston Marathon (unofficially). I combined my love for running, with chanting, and thinking about the love of my friends and world. My friend and Martial arts instructor called me on my word. I had told him I would run, but I did not know anything about running races.
I trusted him so I wanted to make sure to follow through on this event in particular. I trained as hard as I could and I included chanting the Maha Mantra to the training as well as some other sounds. In my mind I would focus on a person, place, or thing, usually God and let that be the source of my motivation.
Physically, my martial arts instructor Shihan Patterson founder of the East Coast School of Combined Martial Arts is my motivator, Spiritually my friend Bhir Krishna Maha is my motivator, and depending on time, the romantic partner is the final source because in the end they will be the one taking you home. I also like to think about the schools and other establishments that I have been a part of because they have all helped me to grow in human society.
I like to run races to inspire others do good deeds in life. My heart will always tell me who won the race for me, out of their love.
I have to run.
Wishing you all the best.
