When leaders fail

Loving people through it all ...

Making it through work each day is challenging. You need to have little pick me ups, or things that get you motivated when you find yourself getting down. About a year ago I started searching for FM stations that played my favorite ministries like Joyce Meyers and a pastor that I really loved his teaching Pastor Paul Shepherd. Well I came home and I got a letter in the mail that he had resigned and his shows were canceled and it was because he was untrue in some way to his wife. They are now working on their relationship as far as the reports stated but I looked at my husband and said oh no. His comment to me was we need to stop putting people up so high they are only human.

How great was that comment and he didn't even realize it. We fly from day to day depending on people, planning for people and believing that in some way this person will repay us. It's a chance they will never want to or never will.

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

I forgive Pastor Paul and anyone else who has made a bad choice in life. That's what we are needed for to build people back up when they are down. Disappointing moments are a guarantee in life. It's what you do after they happen is what matters the most. I'm going to miss listening to this show it really gave me a kick start and he stayed all in the Bible. I will be praying for the family and church members.

I am so excited while reading and updating this I found that Pastor Paul has a new web site. I will be listing to him again at work. This was my prayer snack break !! I love his teaching and he keeps me listening what a great bit of good news ....updated 7/2012

Ah, so very nice written and true, I see you read the word of God which is so important and an ancour to our soul, I like listening to Joyce Meyers as well, she's straight forward and don't tried to sugar coat her faults, anyway I truly enjoyed this hub. "When leaders fall", we just have to keep that one on one relationship with the Lord, for when they do it want rattle us, knowing also that man can fail at anytime, have to keep them up in prayer. Voted up, Awesome, Beautiful, Interesting. I hope you have a lovely evening.
