Which Road Will You Take?

Everyone that is born into the world have a choice to make.  There are two roads to choose from, the way of the Righteous, which is called the narrow road, and the way of the sinner, also called the broad road.

I want you to visualize how a funnel looks.  There are two ends to a funnel, the narrow end and the wide end.  For those that choose to enter at the wide end, this is the same as choosing the broad road.  On this broad road, you will find many people doing many ungodly things; the crowd says that they are having themselves a good time.  On this broad road, you’ll meet people that love to indulge the flesh; popularity is known to be of high importance on this road and sin is never put away.  People that enter in at the wide end of the funnel keeps on going further and further down the road, until it becomes narrower and narrower, meaning that it is getting darker and darker. “The way of the wicked is as darkness.” The wide end of the funnel starts out with bright lights, but as one continues to travel down this road, they began to see that the lights are becoming dimmer and dimmer until there is no light left to shine, this road ends in destruction, and you’re left in total darkness. The devil has deceived many to go down the broad road, but I must warn you, if you choose this broad road, at the end of it is Hell!  The bible says in Isaiah 5:14 “Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, (which means, brilliant display) and he that rejoiceth shall descend into it.

The narrow end of the funnel is the way the righteous should enter, yes in the beginning it’s very narrow, but you have to push your way through; many hindrances will come, you may find that there are several trials and tribulation along the way, but once you have decided that no matter what you face, you’re going to make it through.  Jesus Christ stands there at the narrow end representing that he is the way the truth and the life; no one can get through to the Father, but by him.  You can’t get any narrower then Jesus Christ.  Jesus said in Revelation 3:20 “Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”  The narrow entrance of the funnel is narrow, but if you get through, and travel on down the road, you will see that the path gets wider and wider, this wideness is represented by the scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” There is nothing that God will withhold from you. The road ends in victory, and because you were faithful until the end, there is laid up for you a crown of life.  Jesus said in Revelation 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

The choice is yours, which road will you choose?  You don’t have time to do a lot of thinking, because Christ is fast approaching.  I beckon you to choose the narrow road, for few find it, and once you find it, you must continue on the journey until you reach the end, for at the end, there awaiting you is everything that Christ promised you, and because you overcame, you should be anxious to here the Savior say to you, “well done thy good and faithful servant; thou hast been
