Who said Satan is in hell?
Who said, Satan is in hell?
Another issue came up as I wrote the hub, “who tempted Satan.” Some people belief that Satan is in hell. They also believe that all sinners will join Satan in hell. Most people claim to have seen vision of hell and some of them claim to see people suffering in hell. It is also possible that they saw Satan in hell. While such testimonies are personal experience which cannot be proven yet they state it for people to believe that Satan is actually in hell. However, people still ask, how sure are they that Satan is in hell?
Does Satan tempt people from hell or is he among us? This question is important especially as some Christian sects do not believe in hell. That is they do not believe that hell exists. So Satan or people cannot be seen suffering in a non-existent place. Secondly, in the book of Job when the sons of God came for a meeting in heaven, it was recorded that Satan also presented himself. So does it mean Satan has the permission to heaven while it is said there is conflict between God and Satan? Thirdly, when God asked Satan where have you been? Satan never mentioned that he was in hell. God should not have asked him such a question if he knew that Satan lived in hell. Lastly, God permitted Satan to tempt Job so it can be said that God used Satan to test the faith of Job.
The point shall always remain that people are so certain of their personal certainty. That is why some people are certain that there is no hell or Satan while others are so certain that Satan is in hell. Therefore normally it should be as one belief but most people insist that it must be their way because there are so certain while they forgot that their oppositions are just as certain they are.
This shall be continued in another hub “is Judas Iscariot a hero or a bad guy.”
