Why we shouldn’t always say: God, Why me?
✰♡* Blessing in Disguise *♡✰
.
There are times in life that we don’t know why we have to face such tough challenges. After all we are not bad people. We know life is not a bed of roses but some challenges make it feel as if our lives are about to fall apart and even sometimes I have said: God, Why me?
However, I have learnt in many of those circumstances that most of the challenges, turn out into a beautiful situation or give me a very important lesson to learn and share with others.
First Story
In 1995, I bought a beautiful two bedroom flat while I was doing my first job in the Civil Service as an Admin Assistant…. But I only bought the flat because my landlord asked me and some others who were sharing a house to leave, as he needed to sell it. At the time I felt my world had turned upside down, but the friend I stayed with, showed me some flats in a newspaper and before I knew it, I viewed the property, got a Mortgage and the rest is history.
At the time I cried and said: “God, why me”
But when I got the keys to my flat I was smiling to myself wishing the Landlord had kicked us out earlier.
Second Story
A friend of mine attended an interview but didn’t get the job. He came back a bit disappointed because he prayed before he went. Weeks later, the same company called him to be interviewed for another job, which he was successful at. They gave him the job. Months later they had to lay off some staff and one of the posts that had to go was the first job, for which he was interviewed for.
So, he was thanking God that he actually didn’t get the first job.
Summary
This is just a short message to encourage you and me to be positive. Challenges of life could lead to a miracle, a new blessed beginning. We need to stay positive and see the good in everything.
Please feel free to share any challenges you or others have faced that turned round to be a blessing in disguise.
