Will you break the chains of slavery

"You and I have need of the strongest spell that can be found to wake us from the evil enchantment of worldliness." C.S Lewis

We are statured incessantly by the allure of self every moment of our waking day. Turn on the TV, what are the shows about? How to stab each other in the back is not only okay, it is good, because you have to do this to get ahead of everyone else ( think of the survivor shows) But if I can’t trust you, can you trust me? What kind of life is that? It is like you are at war with everybody, just to get ahead

Dress like a whore is the only way to get a man, who will grow tired of having sex with you and leave. He might leave you with a present of an unwanted child or some horrible sexual disease. And, if you stole him from a wife and children, what makes you so sure someone won’t steal him from you?

It is okay to cheat on an exam because you have to to get ahead of all the other students ( as a teacher I like to ask students in new classes a question that, sadly, is always answered universally the same: “ if you were having an exam an saw the student next to you cheating, would you tell the teacher?” The answer is always the same. They look at me as if I were insane “Of course not teacher, if I tell on them, they’ll tell on me.”) Now that may sound funny, but is it? What does that say about our society?

Look at the music videos, what are they saying to our young people? Having sex is not only okay, is it fun.

When you travel on the Metro or subway the have movies in the cars. What do they say” You want to be happy, go shopping, BUY, BUY, BUY!!!!!!!!! Once you have bought it in a week or two you grow tired of it. Well, there’s only one thing to do: Let’s go SHOPPING!!!! You don’t have any money, that’s okay, come to our bank, we will give you a special card (credit card) so you can go shopping. This creates a never ending vortex of spinning deeper and deeper into a entrapment of spending money you don’t have and becoming a slave to the banks (my personal view is that banks are the bloodsucking leeches of society). Look it up historically about how banks came to be and you will understand

What can we do to free ourselves of these horrible soul choking chains you ask?

Give your live to Jesus and work for the treasures of Heaven. Jesus is a much better task master that the materialistic demon gods. Your life will be simpler, happier and much more fulfilling. Live by Gods Law: Do to other people what you would like other people to do to you, think showing respect and kindness to each other. Do not do to other people what you do not want them to do to you. Do not hurt others by what you say, or by what you do.

Prayer: Jesus Ropheka (God our healer), please I come to you exhausted and empty. Please free me from the terrible chains of material enslavement. Free me heart to You and teach me how to be a better person and a good child of God. In Your wonderful name Jesus Immanuel (God is with us) I pray. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill you today and every day
