The Most Important Part of Our Day

A Great Way to Begin Your Day. Many are so preoccupied with work that they allow little time for prayer—Watchman Nee

You want to know a special secret way to begin your day on the right foot? It is very easy and simple to do. Want to give it a try?

Well, here it is: begin your day having a heart to heart talk with our loving savior, Jesus Christ. Go on. Spill it all out for Him. He wants you to do that. Whatever difficulties you know you are going to face, take it to Him. He will not only listen, but, He will answer as well. Ask that He sends the greatest guidance teacher to help you throughout the day. That is the Holy Spirit. Ask that He guides your words and actions, not only to solve problems and keep you out of trouble, but to show others His love and grace through your actions and words. Also ask that He gives you a grateful heart so that every time He blesses you throughout the day, you stop and thank Him for those blessings.

So why not give it a try? You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.

Prayer: Jehovah Immanuel (God walks amongst us) please guide my words and actions this day so that I may exhibit Your love and grace to others. As well my beloved, would You please help me deal with ____--- (mention whatever problems or difficulties you know you are going to encounter today). I know You are a wise and loving God who cares about me and is always willing to help me in all my needs. In the name of our beloved savior Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
