Ancient Sanskrit Chant of Abundance - Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Swaha

replace fear with trust - a personal experience

Just a little over 10 days ago, I was in a little panic.

Well, I am in a new city for 3 months now and my new job of choice as a massage therapist is a bit too slow on the taking off phase.

All my new qualifications were now nicely laminated and blue tagged to the wall, the new lime green massage table looked so very inviting in the middle of the therapy room surrounded by candles, incense and crystals. All was ready, but NO client. Zip.

To be fair, it is a brand new city for me where I sadly haven't yet made too many new friends. And even the few new friends I made through the massage course are scattered in all directions of this humongous city.

I made up some brochures, first offering $10.00 off, second offering a whopping 50% off for March only, which I personally manually delivered in the neighborhood.

Still no phone call.

Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Swaha

Then my friend Jo introduced this Ancient Sanskrit Chant of Abundance to me: "Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Swaha," using the power of the ancient Sanskrit vibration, one that has no doubt being sung and chanted for thousands of years in the heart of old faithfuls. I went home that day and casually placed the little torn piece of paper with the chant underneath my citrine crystal. Two days later, I remembered the piece of paper and copied the chant into a few different cardboard papers to carry with me in my wallet and my book. I even wrote it onto my Mindsurf script so every time I turn on the computer it's playing slowly across the screen.

The result was, my client base climbed from zero to twelve in 7 days. And most clients had an 1 1/2 hour massage.

I think what this chant really did was it helped me forget my panic and surrender my fear into the hands of a caring cosmos, the bountiful bosoms of a loving mother.

Lakshmi was the ancient Hindu goddess of abundance. The subtle vibrational change that happens every time I sing this chant is one that transforms fear into a calm trust. The change in my subtle vibrational level is what really produces result. Instead of vibrating at the frequency of fear and lack, it is now vibrating at the frequency of peacefully trusting the great abundance of this even greater universe. Like attracts like in this vibrational world of ours; fear of lack attracts more lack while a calm trust in abundance attracts the manifestation of abundance.

Another feeling that is generated for me when I sing the chant of Abundance is that of Gratitude. I am gently reminded of all the wonderful things in my life, all the helpful people and events that had been so generously provided me by the universe in the past up until the present. And I give thanks. Genuine heartfelt thanks to all.

"Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Svaha", I surrender my fear, oh Great Mother, I trust myself into your care and I thank you for everything that you have provided me. Like an infant I curl comfortably in the arms of The Mother and drink to my heart's content from her great bosoms that promise abundant nourishment to all.

ps. at the last estimation as this article gets posted as my first hub at hugpages, I've done a whooping 45 massages at the end of March. Not bad for someone who had hardly any client for the first week of the same month.

The abundant client base I established in March turned into a steady stream of clients and further referrals that kept me rather busy. All thanks to Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Swaha mantra that helped cutting through my fear and feeling of insecurity to re-establish a state of grateful receptivity that invites abundance and peace of mind.

Hey Violet Flame, I just have to tell you. Last night I memorized that chant, and went to bed silently chanting and visualizing AdSense falling into me. Today, my adsense jumped from 73cents to $1.85 - biggest ever jump! Yippee :-)

Yay! That's totally awesome! I am so glad the chant is working for you! After days with no client, the morning after I started using the chant I had three phone calls from brand new clients and then it just snow-balled from there! I was totally blown away! I am sure it will work on my adsense as well just as soon as I learn how to use the thing, lol. Finally got a well-deserved day off tomorrow so I hope to spend some time figuring out Hubpages properly and hopefully create more hubs. And also time to read through yours!!! xoxo hey, thank you so much for hopping in, really appreciate that xo

Facebook feedback from A.Shimmin:

-The drive was done eventually (long story and I'm not happy) but... got half of it back

- which paid for the water I needed to buy in last week!

-Koha of $60 from the party goers last weekend towards the water-got $$ coming in next week from the Rally NZ people which should pay for the ad in bookabachI'm on a roll

- thanks for reminding me to refocus and not only on the material things xxxxxxxxps if you can figure out how to get this onto (your) page, you're welcome to cut and paste it lol

I've been using this for a couple months now. I was wondering if the sanskrit words mean what you said up there, as you didn't really quote them? (I surrender my fear, oh Great Mother, I trust myself into your care and I thank you for everything that you have provided me. Like an infant I curl comfortably in the arms of The Mother and drink to my heart's content from her great bosoms that promise abundant nourishment to all.) Thanks for clarification :) Be thankful & create Abundance - namaste

Dear INDY, thanks for your comment. The sanskrit words evokes Gonesh and the Goddess Lakshmi to remove obstacles and allow the abundance energy to flow. That is my basic understanding. May the force be with you :-) Namaste

I am so happy for you that you experienced abundance after chanting this mantra. Many a times, people try using mantras and then complain that they could not find any monetary benefits. What they fail to understand is that abundance is not just material; it is emotional and spiritual as well. Even if you do not make any money, but enjoy better health and emotional peace, that is worth a million dollars IMO. Chanting mantras also erase negative Karma, which is a huge spiritual benefit. Voted this hub up.

Interesting story.

I have never used a mantra to attract wealth but I do chant some mantras myself. Mantras and Chants are Sounds of Power. Or at least, I think so.

Thank You for sharing your story.

All the best!

P.S. Or maybe it was the Citrine that brought You wealth? (lol)

A really inspiring and enlightening up, as you rightly said, the mantra helps in tuning our self to the positive vibration of the cosmos and be one with it. By doing so we cannot be denied the abundance in the midst of which we live, but which our negativity shuts of totally. Voted up

Dr. Kavita Shaikh,

You are so right! I do think the mantra first change our state of mind from fear to trust, from turmoil to calmly acceptance, from desperation to reception! If the mind doesn't change, it's like a door that insists on remaining shut and yet complaining about not receiving any visitors! LOL Thank you for your wise words, very much appreciated and much blessings xoxoxo

Mr. Happy

I do agree with you that mantras and chants are sounds of power! Very well said! I believe that everything is made of vibration, and the mantras and chants helps us change that vibration first and foremost. In order to attract wealth, one must first step out of fear and the feeling of lack, and mantras can help us do that so beautifully and efforlessly. Thank you for your inspiration xoxox

ram_m,

Yes! Yes! You put it so very nicely indeed! It is very much about reaching that feeling and vibration of abundance and becoming one with it. At the end of the day, there's nothing to get, just everything to be. I'm sure you know what i mean LOL. Thank you xoxox

Violet-First, I'd like to thank you for your lovely fan mail. I appreciate it and want you to know that you are welcome to email me anytime for any reason.

Second, I thought I would go to the beginning and read hub #1 you posted. I love it because it resonate the beautiful Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. Your explanation was interesting and brought her to life. It is amazing to know we can connect at a level that is beyond fear and find the support we need...it is all part of the realm of reality beyond the fixed illusions of mind; it is all part of who we are, and by tapping into that we are tapping into our own potential.

Rated up/A/U/I/B Thanks for sharing...I'll do the same.
