God Forgives and Forgets. Don’t You Think God is Too Smart to Lose Remembrance?
Yes, How Can God Forgets When He Can Sees Everything, Hears Everything and Knows Everything? What's the Teaching from, 'God Forgives and Forgets'?
God is love and love is God. He love us so much that he was willing to sacrifice his life for us. He took our burdens to Calvary to pay a price of Death for us.
When we sin, What would atone for us? Only under his precious blood. When we accept the word of God (bible) we are no more ourselves we become the word of God, when we accept the word of God it is God the spirit in us again, whatever we did in the past or present is no more in remembrance because we are under the shed blood (the word), once we confess our sins he will forgive us.
God is not looking at us from what we did in the past, he love us before we first love him and is looking at us through his blood. Once you repent (change of mind into his mind) and ask for forgiveness he remembers our sin (mistakes etc) no more.
Sometimes things maybe hard to explain because God ways are not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts, so all we have to do is just believe.
BE IT DONE UNTO YOU AS YOU BELIEVE.
If we believe he don't remember it no more, well he don't, if we believe that we are lost and are sinners, then we are.
Its our acceptance of God whatever we accept and believe to be, that will be.
God cannot forget anything. That does not mean anything bad. He will not forget all the Good things about you either. He loves you very much and will never use his perfect memory in any negative way against you.
Actually you or anyone cannot anything to hurt the ever Powerful and Supreme Being, God. He that is not hurt finds no need to forgive. As with all real love which is unconditional you have no reason to worry any repercussions directly from him for your misdeeds.
But beware of hurting others. Doing wrong to others can hurt you.
Effects of your misdeeds will be painful. But these are not punishment of God. Therefore go in peace, do what you feel is good to you and others. He would prefer that out of your own free will you love him instead of fearing him. If you move towards him in this manner both of you will find Joy.
If you define God as absolutely perfect in either way, then He can remember anything. Whether or not he chooses to remember everything is another question. For humans, the only way that we can fully forgive is to more or less forget. Maybe God has the capacity to forgive even if His memory is perfect.

Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

God has no agenda in remembering sins, if blood was shed then the blood itself is the reason, if the blood covers then no point in remembering, the blood covers the sin and God cant reverse the blood covering, it was his own blood for all mankind Believe it or Not
I believe god forgives us in the same sense we forgive are own children after they have acted badly...
I think what is meant by 'forgets' is that 'God' is willing to put things into the past and moves on. It is more the colloquial 'forgive and forget' where it means to forgive someone and move on, as opposed to actually 100% erasing it from your memory.
God forgives yes, but I don't think He forgets, He just choose not to account the sins of the repentant. The Scripture says that if we repent "He will remember our sins no more". The "will" there implies a conscious act of not putting into account as oppose to being forgetful.
I don't think he actually forgets. He just does not hold it against you - he holds no grudges. He remembers it no more because he does not have to remind you on every occasion of what you did. That's my interpretation.
Quite interesting.........Not to be offensive to anyone. What I understand is this , God doesn't judge one with their previous mistakes, when he forgives he never convicts one of their past faults, everthing is new.
This is a question that would raise the eyebrows of many. My answer is that to understand what is meant of the statement is to think of things in the spirit. What this means is that he doesn't literally forget but instead removes the things from your past to not hold you responsible. This is what HE teaches to us as well. You will not forget what one has done to but you are not to hold it against that person such as recalling the things of the past. Forgiveness is the purest evidence that love does exist. Think of a time when your loved one did something terrible to you; how far away is that thing in your mind when you look at them?

If you were God, and had the power to forgive or condemn whomever you chose, would you let people go to Hell? Would there be a single person you would not forgive? If your answer is yes, then who would that be? and why?

Is our destiny in God's hands or do we actually have free will, being that God knows all?

The Bible says that all one has to do is ask for forgiveness. Now being that, do you think that Satan might have already asked God for forgiveness? Now before you rattle off scripture.....I don't believe...but I could be wrong....that the Bible has nothing to say on that.

I would say Jesus would mean more if he was a man because then he is just like us and proved the power of faith in God. Plus Jesus said plain as day, I am from the seed of David. I am just like you, and do not bow down to me, I am just like you, or have no other God besided the...

When something goes wrong in your life, whether it is financial, or illness, or troubles in a relationship, or troubles at work with either a co-worker, or your boss, whatever the difficulty you might have to face, Why Blame God for it? If you look at "JOB" in the Bible, it is not God who...

Is God a vengeful God? If I don't believe, am I condemned to 'burn'?If I lead a life where I am selfless, constantly help people, give away my money and live in a 'Christian' way, will I still be condemned to 'burn' if I simply don't believe in God?
