Why do people get angry? what are the cures for anger?

I firmly believe there are a few reasons people get angry. First let me say that many of us will direct our anger on the innocent, before we realize what we are really upset about. This can be disastrous.

Folks get angry because they feel insecure, they have low self esteem and feel a need to be the best at everything and anything.  A secure person can calmly address the issue and deal with it.

Folks get angry due to the wrong medication, or the wrong mixture of medications.

It is much easier to take your displeasure and place it at the feet of God and leave it there, and move on with your life, than to get angry.

Anger is like a disease, it eats and eats on your soul. It is very unhealthy to be an angry person.

You asked for cures.  I have found the very best cure is to give it to God and let go.  However, everyone does not have that kind of faith and I more than understand that.

You can take whatever makes you angry (we are not talking about just being upset - but angry) and metaphorically bury it in the flower bed, or the yard or the pot sitting in your yard.

While you do this, you must believe you are truly burying your anger.  You dig the dirt, place the troubles in the hole, cover it with dirt and plant a flower if you can. Take a moment of silence to regroup your thoughts.  You just might find that a great burden has been lifted off of you.

There are lots of ways to "rid" yourself of anger, however I recommend the most calm ways. I do not recommend punching a pillow or screaming or yelling.  The idea is to calm your soul, not stir it up. I once buried my anger with my friend. As I saw the coffin being let down into the ground I felt the most awesome peace come over me.

    I hope this has helped.

Anger is a natural emotion and makes itself evident in numerous ways. It can ruin your life and destroy your relationship with family members and co-workers. It’s vital to stay calm and never get provoked at the slightest criticism.

Angry is a quick emotion. It is very natural. I'd suggest you to tightly close your mouth for a few secs, make sure you don't react on this.

Breath and relax. Drink a glass of water. If you really feel like showing out your anger, doesn't matter do something. Take a en and paper and write what you feel like. Rather than showing the anger to the next person, you can try these things.

Generally speaking , people get angry when they are unhappy or upset about something, when they are hurt, when they feel frustrated and in situations when they  find that things are not working their way. Whatever the cause be it may , anger affects both  mind and body  and , if not controlled,  can completely ruin any healthy relationship. Anger is dangerous for people with high blood pressure. When angry,  people sometimes shout, use abusive languages and thus create an unhealthy atmosphere at home or outside.

We all get angry at times but we must not allow anger to linger. In fact anger should be controlled immediately.
I find any of the following is  the easiest and quickest way to cure anger :-
    a) Go to a quiet place, close your  eyes and say to yourself why am I angry, why so stupid, what the hell do I get out of it ?
    b) Look at the floor for a few minutes or look yourself  in the mirror .
    c) Go outside for a walk and take deep breaths saying to yourself  that I shouldn't have been angry ,  I must calm down.

Anger is the natural emotion of the human nature. You can control that by (just) relax. Imagine there's no people you've been hate around you.

Just think of any instance when you get angry and you will notice we get angry because a person or situation is not acting or happening as planned by us.We always have a choice to be angry or not .we can definitely cure it every situation where you feel angry make a choice not to be angry and secondly never to expect others to behave according to our likes and dislike..

Anger is a natural human emotion, but I do not think it needs to go to the point of destruction, which is what I think you are talking about.  People are angry about the way that this world is, and their own situations.  there are better ways to channel it, like take action.  If you see a person or a group of people being treated with disrespect, take a non-violent approach to the situation, and see if you help out. There is never a cure for anger, but there are ways to direct it in a positive way for all.
