Perhaps not the most learned definition, however for the Christian I think it would suffice to say... "The concerns and dealings withing the Book of Revelation."
Aye?

Eschatology is a branch of theology dealing with death, Last Judgment, Heaven, Hell. In other words, the final destiny of humankind. Thanks and may God bless you always.
From the Greek word eskhatos meaning last, it is the studies or doctrines concerned with the end times, or judgment.
Are you aware, that you are asking a rather complex, and tedious question ?
For your understanding, I will answer it Generally ...
Eschatology means, "The Held Concepts, of the End of Times, held by Followers of any Belief or Religion ... each treating its held, as, the "True Doctrine" of the Final ends.
Thus Eschatology, mainly refers to two things ...
1.The last days before the end, of the Cycle of Manifestations, meaning, the end of the world ... and,
2. The Posthumous state, of the human Soul in the Hereafter ...
Within the Belief, held by any Religion, or any Belief's follower ...
In Islam, all humans have been Created by God, and have to live for the Ordained duration of their lives. At the end of the Ordained Duration ... all Believers, and Non Believers, must die.
All the True Believers ... and the Non-Believers, are to face The Lord's Judgment ... and will be Rewarded or Punished for their Doings, in the Worldly Life."
Eschatology, is thus, the Metaphysical answering of a fundamental Question ... universally posed by believers ... of any Belief ... Particularly, the Jewish, Psalmists, Christian, and the Islamist, Religionists belief.
Surprisingly, in these present times, Eschatology, has become "the de facto Religion" ... in ... the Judaic, the Christian faiths, and the Islamist branches of Islam.
Anyway, All Believers, Universally Believe, in One Super Entity ... what being addition, in what the Christians Believe ... Trinity.
The Pharaohs thought Ra, [sun god] was the Absolute, Hindus think Brahma is the Ultimate, as do the Aborigines of Australia, the Animists of Amazon, and the Red Indians etc..
All, except the Buddhists, and Atheists ....all other Believers, Believe, though differently, in a Hereafter, The Judgment day, and the State, of the Soul of a Believer, after death.
In the modern 21st century, American Concept ... the dying believer's soul, first beholds a blinding bright light ... sometimes at the end of a tunnel, described by survivors of near death experience on TV ... and then, the soul in an out of body experience ...passing on to a Hollywood version of the other side ...
It is generally a bright green corn or wheat field, sometimes a grassy meadow, with a huge tree in the middle ... and Papua New Guinean birds of Paradise singing, a fresh breeze blowing ... etc., Such is the Eco-friendly, concept of Paradise !
Suggest you pick up any Encyclopedia of Religions, and you will find, the specific relpy.

In Christianity, do non believers go to hell? What happens to the people that believe in another religion and another God. If the Christian God is the only true God, then are those people damned?
