I guess that depends on who you ask.
As for me, the purpose of my life is to discover the purpose, and live it with all my ability. Most of us experience many "distractions" in life, so it becomes difficult to "see the forrest from the trees". IE, we have so many things to do in this life, it's hard to narrow it down to just one thing.
Ultimately, it's God who decides what your specific purpose was, and then reveal it to you. Once you have it revealed, then it's up to you to pursue it.
It should bring you great satisfaction. If life does not give you that, you are probably on the wrong path.
