This question is addressed to those who believe in eternal life...
    When does eternal life begin?

Many religions central focus is on how our actions in this life affect the afterlife.  I want to better understand what understanding different denominations may teach, or what your personal belief is, regarding the process, steps, or progression one goes through to achieve eternal life and when is the pinnacle moment when it is actually received.

Immortality (or eternal life) is the concept of existing in a spiritual or physical form for an infinite period of time. Infinite meaning unlimited or immeasurable in extent of space, duration and time. It obviously is not possible to reach this biologically (yet ?). However, I believe that it is possible on the spiritual realm! Whether that exists prior to physical birth and extends beyond death infinitely we won’t know until we die. If we have the answer to this prior to birth; for some reason it is stripped away! I actually have a few articles posted on my profile on like topics! Great question!
As far as the methods to acheive this; I truly believe that one has to find his or her own. Someone who is truly seeking answers will educate themselves thoroughly on any and all denominations available and piece together something that works.

Even while within the womb of my mother, God knew my name.

    It started even before then..........

Look at a wedding band..( or a rubberband, if you are a doubter).....really, do this,  can you tell where it begins or ends?  It is a perfect circle...............so is, life.  It begins at the beginning.

Christians are told by the their elders that life begin at conception.

I know that life began long before conception.
Many have lived before the life they are in now.
I also believe that life does not end with the death of one's earthly body.

So what is eternal life if we are always life?
God has been with you, is with you and will always be with you forever and ever.

Your eternal life began when God created your soul from Himself. This was long before your conception in this lifetime.
You soul know this, but your mind does know this. That is why your mind is asking this question.

Eternal life is NOT related to Physical, but related to Spiritual,

or you can say related to the true faith in 'God' which is eternal or everlasting one!

Eternal Life *no beginning and no end because if it has a beginning and an end it can be measured and anything that can be measured can be contained. And something that is contained is subject to a power greater than itself.

Although some have stated and correctly so that your life began when you were first created which was your living soul at the point in time when God the Creator created you along with everyone else. Before time was, there was the eternity which was lost with the fall of the one third of heaven or the world that fell. Since that event we who have fallen have become mortal physically and possibly spiritually. Our souls are liable to die or perish.

So to answer your question eternal life  will begin for us, "the third that fell" after the Great White Throne of Judgment which means those from the first beginning will continue on and the others shall not, but only after the Judgment is one's life believed to become an eternal Life.

From their original creation until the forever with God the Father. As it stands Now we have only the Promise or the Hope of the Promise. The fact that the Father and Son are Faithful and True to do as they have Promised will not be a fact or reality for the Mortal soul until this "Great White Throne of Judgment" Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor Man

The universe always existed.  So did you.
The universe will always exist.  So will you.
