Do you believe in paranormal activity/ghosts and why? Share some stories! smile

One debate I love is people that do and DONT believe in paranormal activity.  I love hearing peoples experiences that have made them believe or have changed them from non-believers to believers. Lets hear some!

I believe in other spirit beings, but I do not believe they are the spirit of a human who has died. Some people call them demons. I wrote a hub on it actually. That said, I have encountered these beings before, I know they are around.

I am a paranormal investigator, researcher, founder and owner of a paranormal team located in Springfield, Missouri.
I became an investigator because of what I went through in my own home and wanted to help people. First I joined a team, then went on my own with my fiance'.
I started experiencing paranormal activity when I was 2 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday.
As I got older, things kept happening, not on a daily basis, but occasionally. At least not until 2003-present.
Things started getting really bad when I moved into a town that was completely burned to the ground back in 1861 during the civil war. Which, before I moved into my apartment, I did not know anything about the town, or the apartment complex until later on when I did some research.
At first, it was things flying off the wall, landing 9 ft 3 1/2 inches from where it hung on the wall, yet no windows were opened, no doors opened, no fans or heater going at the time and the picture that flew off the wall had stopped in mid air and began spinning counter clockwise and then continued flying across the room. This was witnessed by my son and his two friends, besides myself. Things got worse over the years as time went by. Let's just say that now I do not live in that complex or that town, but because I am an investigator, I still experience things from time to time either in my own home or when doing an investigation. Hope that answers your question. Have a great day!

Yes, I do believe in ghosts and the paranormal.  Over the past few months, I've become interested in learning about them, but that was all.  Then I had a personal experience where I saw, what I can't believe I'm saying, was a ghost.  I believe it was that of my husband's uncle who had passed away a few months before hand in his house (which is where we were when I saw him).  I always thought I would be scared or freaked out, but I wasn't.  At first, I wasn't sure if I had really seen him or if my eyes were just playing tricks on me, but that night, my bedroom door kept closing on it's own, and then my husband had felt him during the night trying to tuck him in (we were in separate rooms as our daughter didn't want to sleep alone).  I actually can't wait to go back to see if he shows himself again.  I really do miss him!
