I wouldn't change a thing because I am happy with my life and the way things have turned out. If I go back and change something, it might not be as great. I think everyone just needs to do what is right and see the good things to life. We focus too much on the bad and that makes us negative. Being negative will make it seem like more bad things happen than good and make us want to change that. What I mean is that just the plain fact that you woke up this morning and are alive is the best thing that could ever happen to you. I am 26 years old and I have had at least 9,529 good things happen to me simply because I have lived that many days and I wouldn't change that one bit.

I would change how I acted with my parents, what I allowed myself to see, what garbage I allowed myself to begin eating, and what courses I would have taken in school.

I agree with fflores. But, adding if I change something wouldn't the butterfly effect come into play and change other things. To me that would not be a selfless act. So, with all that has happen in my life and will, I am happy with cards dealt.

I would like to change so many things. I would ask my mom not to stay away so long....she worked abroad. I would have loved to have her around more.

The decisions I made as a distraught teenager I would change....I would seek help for the things that happened to me so that I could handle my life better.

I would not pay so much attention to what other people think, and follow my heart more. I've missed out on some good relationships and hurt some people's feelings because of worrying about what other people would think.

I would want to go back and secure my son's dresser so it wouldn't fall, killing him.  But If I did that then my wife and I wouldn't of had our daughter Ellie because we had always wanted four children and she would've been number 5.

Nothing.  Things are as they should be.  It's not about going back to change the past but making the change on the futrure.  You were who you were and you did what you did to the best of your abilities back then.  Now it's time to be better and do better so this question doesn't pop up again.  That's what I've decided on but it's not always easy to implement...

There are some people in my life who were so good to me and I didn't get appreciate them for their kindness. I didn't realise how important they were to me until they died. If I could go back in time, I will want to go and meet my uncle and tell him that I love him and appreciate him for all that he was to our family. He was such a calming and happy presence but we took him for granted. Like him, there are three more people who are no more but who i would like to see and hug for one last time.

Honestly, there is nothing I would change.  Not that I'm dying to live  every part of my life all over again, but I have no regrets.  I believe everything in my life has happened for a reason and  a good or positive reason.

I probably wouldn't allow my parents to spend so much money on my education, trying to get basic requirements out of the way BEFORE applying to college - you can get simple credits at a community college. And I would be pickier about my major. But I don't like living with regrets (marriage/divorce) so in the end, I think what happens, happens and your life path is ultimately determined by how you deal with that (i.e. consequences).

I don't believe I would change anything or for that matter even take the trip.
I've worked hard to be satisfied with who I am today.
I have made mistakes, but none I haven't learned from or regret.
And on the occasion which is rare to get it right the first time I would risk perhaps not getting right the 2nd.  Be it luck or diligence in research and paying attention, getting things done right the first time is almost a miracle.
    I'll pass on the trip.
    Thanks for asking the question.

As I tried to formulate my answer, I've come to realize that going back in time to change something implies a dissatisfaction with it, whether it is something you did, didn't do, or a characteristic you have. And that, to me, segues to regret, which is self-defeating and takes too much emotional energy.

Someone here mentioned she wouldn't change a thing because everything happened to her for a reason. I agree.

    Good question.

I would work less and play more.  The truck I bought second hand works just as well as the ones that we drove off the showroom floor.  And the vintage wood furniture that I bought second hand has aged better that the crap that we paid high dollar for.  Yep that is what I would do different. Pay less so I could work less, stress less and play more.

I would change very little in my life because all the things that have happened in my life have made me who I am today. May be I would consider to change my grades in my secondary school. This would have allowed me to do the degrees I wanted. Otherwise i love my life the way it is.
