   Are more Christians or non-Christians, interested in the end time prophecies?

   I believe some Christians are watching with great expectations and studying the end time prophecies while non-Christians usually fall into one of three categories. Those who are interested, those who don't care at all, and those who pretend they don't care but keep one eye on the sky!

   I would think that Christians are more concerned with the end times mostly because their religion is one of the main (and almost the only) religion that actually has apocalyptic endings held within its teachings.

   Christians pay attention to end time prophecies because the Bible tells us to watch and be ready. We are looking forward to our deliverance. Non-christians have a more doomsday approach to end-time prophecies. This is evident in certain movies like 2012, Deep Impact, Battle: Los Angeles, The Day After, and The Day the Earth Stood Still. To answer your question, I believe more non-Christians are interested. Most Christians are now interested in being healthy and wealthy.

   I have been blessed by GOD to give me a vision of the other side of death on August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning. I say to all of humanity now to be more concern about how they are living their life on the earth and be prepared for what is on the other side of death which is heaven and hell before you die and crossover to the other side of death. Every day human beings are crossing over to the other side of death and is ending up in heaven or hell on that side when they die on the earth. Have it your way now on the earth because it will be served to you over there in heaven or hell.

   I would say Christians. Non Christians really don't have a reason too if they truly dong believe, do they?
   But as a believer I use to read about this topic more then anything. It was my number one discussion with other Christians. Once I stopped just believing in God and started having a relationship with him, my focus shifted. God  has put so many other things on my heart. Sone being that we should be focusing on all the injustices of the world, loving others, sharing Christ, etc. That I haven't had the desire to focus on things to come. That said, it should be studied and known by His children and definitely isn't to be disregarded or forgotten.

   I would say there is no bias, both are equally interested but in different ways. 
   
   Christians are interested in the end of time prophecies from the Bible, but not in other sources (e.g. they would reject the Mayan calendar theory).  Non-Christians, if they follow another religion, may have their own end time prophecies.  In contrast, prophecies such as the Mayan Calendar and the other end-of-world scenarios such as whatever date it was incorrectly theorized in 2011, would appeal more to atheists than anyone else. 
   
   In a nutshell: I truly don't think any group is more or less interested in the end of time prophecies, just that the source of the prophecies will differ.

   Thanks for the responses. I believe that more non-Christians are interested in end time prophecies. They tend to search in all areas concerning end time. I believe they are being drawn to search so that they may come to Christ.
   It is my belief that end time prophecies should be equally important for Christians as well, but not the main course of a spiritual appetite.
   I am in total agreement with preacherdon. I voted up on all except one. If everyone believed there was a soul then they would realize you are saving a life. I also have been on the other side. IT IS REAL!
