Yes, one day I'm going to become the President of the United States. It is my goal to make the country and the world a better place by inspiring people to set aside their complacency and willingness to let others take advantage of them. Humanity can be great if they could just become motivated to push the boundaries of known science.

I talk how I hope to accomplish this a lot in my hubs, and what made me want to become President. This is where I outline what I think the purpose for my existence is:

all of our purposes is to be us! you cannot mess it up either. all of life from the micros to the macros follows a balance in creation-difficult to see, but there none the less.

My purpose in this life is to share my thoughts and experiences with YOU and everyone else.  If I do this honestly, then I've fulfilled my purpose in this life, so far as I now understand it.

There is a purpose in life for everyone of us.

Each of us has our own learning path but ultimately we should reach the same conclusion or objective - enlightenment.

It is part and parcel of individual to learn whether the hard ways or the easy way to understand what life is all about and achieving the same goal for everyone.

I believe it is like a trial we have to experience individual. It maybe a lot of hardships or pain & suffering but we will still have the same objective in life. Some may realize it earlier while others take a longer time to know what they want or looking for.

So, I do believe we are all going for our own enlightenment in life. How fast for us to realize it will depend individually.

I'm convinced that we're all here on a roll of a dice and some are lucky, others are not.

we don't have a "purpose" what so ever. we are born and we do what we do. there isn't some grand purpose or some being setting us in any direction.

Yes, I do think there is and everyone has a different one. Some people could be having opposite ones to each other at the same time, which might help to explain why people don't always get on.

i don't believe that i have a higher purpose.  i believe that i should do the best i can in anything i do.  that should be sufficient to satisfy me and my loved ones.  if what i do helps others, great.  if not, at least my intent should be to help other people.

I believe that my purpose in this life is to become more aware of my physical existance in order to attain a higher understanding of the possibilities that await for me and every human being in the after life....

Every being has a purpose for living. I know for sure that my life has a specific purpose too but I am yet not aware of it. Sometimes,I feel as if I am getting clues but then again,I am lost. I guess only time will reveal what is it?

ABSOLUTELY!! Everyone does, but only a few people follow it.

I'm a Christian and a follower of the Bible and use the Bible as my guide for living and it has a number of things to say about your purpose, destiny, and existence.

    Two of my favorites are:

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

“'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'” Jeremiah 29:11
