Who have killed more in the name of their god - Islamists or Christians?

And will they burn for it?

    I guess both!
But that's against the Bible! And maybe also in the Koran.
    Jesus said in Matthew 7:12:
"All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should
do unto you, even so do ye also unto them."
This means that we should be active doing good things
    to everyone around us.
War and killing are absolutely not doing god!
The Koran has the same, but in unactive form.
    That mean: Do not do....

It is my understanding of extreme Islamists that their life long goal is to convert people to Isalm or destroy them. My God on the other hand, requires me (as a Christian) to love and pray for my enemies. "...but He is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."  2Peter 3:9.  It's God's desire that even the vilest of sinners will repent and turn to Him. This knowledge alone should allow you to draw your own conclusions to answer your question.

So, I'm guessing you don't know your history then?! The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition not mean anything to you?

I'd have thought these events alone would stack it pretty much with the Christians. Then again the Christains stopped putting people to death for blasphemy etc a good while back where as in some Islamic states this still goes on.

In short I never really got why God couldn't fight his own battles rather than having evil zealots murdering at whim and calling it God's work.
Don't know about you, but if I was a god, I'd use my powers to strike these murderers down rahter than make a few statues weep or whatever!
