   Morality is more about personal decisions, I think. Ethical decisions affect a group of people in the long run.

   An ethnic person does things based on their heritage and family rituals where a moral person does things based on manner, or goodness.

   simply put an ethical person is someone who knows ethics and practices ethics according to its principles.  A moral person on the one hand is a person of integrity who's able to judge what is right or wrong according to his/her own beliefs without prejudice to ethics as he/she uses its principles but does not in any way limit himself/herself to it.

   An ethical person is an honest person. He may not follow the moral code of religion, but he does not cheat on his wife.
   
   A moral person is one who follows a moral code of conduct, which by default will make him an ethical person.
   
   Thus, being ethical is a subset of being moral.

   Morals define personal character, ethics social character. The difference is subtle but essential. The former can be viewed as a belief system, the latter as a code of conduct.
   
   Morals and ethics exist only within a social context. There is an essential public face of each. In order to be considered moral one's principles must be reasonably compatible with those of his society, and to be thought of as ethical his behavior must meet its expectations.

   Good question! Ethics and morals are often used interchangeably; however, ethics apply more to our social and cultural character and behavior, whereas morals pertain to our personal conduct. Laws are often based on a code of ethics. Morals are self-guided and followed regardless of outside influences.

    An ethical person adheres to societal standards of conduct, whereas a moral person adheres to Godly standards of conduct. In doing so, the moral person automatically fulfills the ethical code of conduct, whereas the ethical person may or may not fulfill the moral standard.
