Have you ever considerd the existence of dopplegangers?

I have a few interesting theories about this...  Some of them are from my personal experience and some speculation based upon religious views...

I have seen people from other races... for example a Chinese woman who looks in some way exactly like a girl I knew in USA except for say... the hair color and height... but with same facial expressions etc...

I think we have some doubles all over the planet in every generation... with minute differences...  Born of different parents in a different place under different circumstances... each person will have to make decisions based upon what they know... this will result in people either "Doing what is Right"... and "Seeking after God" or not.. it would provide an interesting spin on the fact that "God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."... Things that make you go "HMMMMMMMmmmmm"

When I was a 7th grader, there used to be someone's dad (someone's because I never actually saw the kid) that looked JUST LIKE MY DAD! So much so, that I actually ran up to him from behind one time - after grade school was out for the day - I thought he was there to pick me up. I nearly hugged the guy running up from behind - I must have been 5 feet away when I realized my mistake. He heard me running and turned around - and looked super confused. Because obviously, I looked nothing like anyone HE knew... The freaky thing is - he looked just like my dad from the front, too.

So then for the next few years I would see him once in a while, and my parents and grandparents saw him too a couple of times - everyone thought he looked like my dad's clone. One time they saw each other, and it was super freaky. The only tiny difference was that the guy was a little bit thinner than my dad... Otherwise - pretty much a carbon copy.

I have noticed that there are individuals who are quite astounding as to their appearance and the way they talk and body language, that is so much like others they resemble in many ways. I do not believe that there are actual dopplegangers on this planet, but if you want to use your imagination, think about in other worlds similar to our own in other galaxies. Could there be others who have evolved and developed just as we and look like us or have there been such a wide range of genetic or inherited traits all around the earth that we have all been a part of over the eons, that it would be impossible for this to happen? If, say a billion planets were examined, and on these planets, say, a million of them had very similar environments and qualities, and you could compare the inhabitants in a given climate to each individual planet, could there be actually dopplegangers on these planets, or is there just too many genetic accidents or variables that prevent this from taking place? I once saw a sci-fiction as a teenager about just such an event. It was quite interesting to me and stirred my imagination quite a lot.

I do not know if she is a doppelganger, but I eveidently have an "evil twin" (actually don't know if she's evil or not. She's probably quite nice, but "evil twin" is more fun to say)

I've never met her, but our paths have crossed repeatedly. She has the same name as I do, spelled the same. She lives in the same town that I do. And she evidently looks like me, because people have mistaken me for her...
