   What is one thing that you have not done that you really want to do?
   
   What is holding you back? In my case it is economic issues. My one 'thing' is that I would travel the world to the highways and byways to meet the people and learn about their way of life after I have seen e v e r y thing in these United States.

   I haven't travelled to other countries. The two countries I know is Mexico, where I live and the United States, where I lived for around 15 years. I would like to travel to Alaska since I love nature; Euroasia; Russsia; and Japan. I would like to cross the Atlantic ocean on a cruise ship, since I'm interested in ocean life.
   
   These are some of the things that I haven't done, and that I hope I can meet in the near future.

   There is a novel I have written I want to actually hold in my hands and say, "Here it is!" EBooks are fine but I think anyone who writes understands what I mean! I put so much in it that it has become a part of me and with much of it being based on things in my life, it really is a part of me. I will be completely happy on that day.

      I understand. If you've made it as good as you can, write a synopsis and send that out with the first three chapters, to all the agents that you think might be interested in it. Send it to one agent at a time and work your way down the list.

   My one and only desire in this life is to leave a positive impact on humanity, if only  in a small way.  Helping to change humanity for the better, as a whole, is not something one can see, or take credit for, in their own life time, but possibly plant a seed in humanity that will grow exponentially in a positive way.

       You have no idea much fun it is!  I did it about 20 times before running out of money in my late teens; almost better than sex.  At 64, I am still thinking about going again, now I can afford it.

       Nice!  That's what everyone reports.  A lot of people say at first it's terrifying, but your nervous system goes numb and after the fear wears off, you are left with a thrill so intense it's almost like a high.  I envy you.  haha

    I too want to see the world! I got a taste of Europe for 4 whole months and I need more! Ultimately, I want to move to Germany to live out the rest of my days with a wife and family.

    It sounds like a common theme, but definitely travel.  I would love to go backpacking for 6 months throughout Europe.  I would love to travel to Machu Piccu, Maldives, and do a safari in Africa.  Travel, travel, travel!!

    For me, it is travel into space, just a few times around the earth would be nice, I am not looking for much.  But, at 64, I suspect that isn't going to happen, even if I could afford it. :-(

    first of all, let me address the answer you make to your own question.  During a portion of my life I believed I needed to accumulate a certain amount of money before I could travel.  Assuming you're single and childless, let me suggest to you that you can begin traveling right now, at least traveling the united states, as long as you are willing to work, and sometimes work the humblest of jobs, wherever you arrive.  Begin your travel after you have about one to two thousand dollars stashed in a debit account somewhere, but that should not be a big hurtle.  Check out things like "couchsurfing" on the net, have some skills at camping and so on, I'm not saying you can travel in the lap of luxtury right now, but you can see this country, experience its people, and you can travel beyond this country, right now.  I finally followed such a plan when I noticed I was getting older and could no longer wait to be richer before I began.  Now, what have I not done that I'd really like to do... 
    I suppose I shouldn't count things that I tried to do and had less success at than I would have liked, such as having a lot of children with a wonderful woman as my wife and mother to those children, or being an appreciated influencential well compensated artist, or even saving the human race and the planet.  Let's see, I suppose one thing that I have not done that I'd really like to do is... man, I'm surprising myself here, everything I can think of I've done or gave a good shot at trying to accomplish...
    ok, ok, I've got one, I wish I stuck with martial arts training and got a black belt. 
    Wow, this was somewhat theraputical, thanx for the question. 
    Oh wait, here's another:  I wish I had traveled the country/theworld in the lap of luxtury and didn't have to work wherever I arrived.

    I like these 'bucket list' type of questions because, once you start to think about it, there are many, many things.
    
    I would love to have the chance to do some deep sea diving and see coral reefs and shipwrecks. That would be amazing. So would parachuting and hot air ballooning.
    
    I would also love to travel to Vienna and see Wagner's Ring Cycle performed.
    
    To see the places where jesus is said to have lived would also be an unbelievable experience.
    
    Another twist to this question, though, would be "What have you done that you will never forget" ?
    
    I was present at the birth of my daughter and then I was also present when her daughter was born. Not many men ever have that opportunity and ir probably stands out as my most memorable memory.

    I'm going to take the liberty of responding to your explanatory elaboration (the "add details here" part.
    
    I need to preface my dream...no...my "I *AM* gonna &%#&!$ conquer this, *=!$-damn it!-goal with a disclosure that I have an alphabet soup of medical/neurological/learning (the full monty *L*earning, not just academics) disabilities, chief among them having to do with visual-processing, -awareness, -attention, -memory;  literal-mindedness, executive dysfunction, and parts-to-whole (and hence, remembering the parts from one to the next) relationships, and of course the crippling (sometimes that level even 'though medicated) anxiety, and...oh yeah...mabe one or two tiiiiiiiiiiiny issues with anger/frustration over a lifetime fighting and trying to overcome them.
    
    Ooops!  I just revealed my most urgent, desperate, pleaing and "by any means necessary" goal.  Stephen Hawking often ponders a theory of everything.  Maybe I should (in "yeah, right!" land) contact him, present my issues, and wait for our era's Einstein/Newton/Euclid to pause a moment and then tell me THE problem and THE solution!

       Live anywhere near Boston/south shore in MA?    Been playing since about 5, and started teaching periodically on the side (my real job - privilige and joy! - is working with children with severe/multiple disabilities) since about '93.

    I used to travel a lot but one place I haven't been to is Alaska.  I think it would be very interesting!  I also have a cousin who lives up there and I would like to visit her !  Due to the fact that I'm living on SSI these days, I can't afford travel now!

    Climb Kilimanjaro. Can you imagine standing on top of the world? I was actually accepted as part of a group years ago to do the climb to raise money for charity. But my Mother became ill, and I knew that I would never forgive myself if something happened to her while I was away, so I bowed out and have just never gotten around to making it a major goal again...

    I really want to see a lot more of the United States.  I live in California, and have been to Oregon, Washington State, Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia and New York.
    The states I am longing to see are Montana and Wyoming, the Carolinas and Tennessee, and also the New England states.  After seeing those states, I want to go to Europe, mainly to Germany, Austria, Italy, France and to Sweden and Denmark and Norway.
