   Yes!  I believe miracles can be both obvious or hidden.  Babies are miracle, as are various healings, as is being preserved from a close call car accident.  Some of it is just RECOGNIZING the miracle.  To believe in miracles is to believe that God continues to act in human affairs contrary to the natural order of things or outside the laws of probability.  God has not left us... there are many different kinds and degrees of miracles, but God works them every day.

   Life itself is a miracle. All that is unknowable is miraculous. On a more concrete level, my parents' recent energy healing has been nothing short of miraculous. I feel very blessed.
   There are big life-changing miracles and then there are everyday miracles. It's a view of life that we can simply choose to adopt. And when you do, watch out! The world changes and you yourself are irrevocably changed.

   Yes! and I have had one happen to me. When I was 15 I had a 2nd story balcony collapse with me on it. I landed on concrete below and had heavy pieces of wood fall on me.  I ended up with my 1st, 2nd and 3rd vertebrae on lower lumbar shattered. I was told one they needed to operate, and 2 that they did not think I would ever walk again. That night my dad prayed over me to heal my back and help me though the surgery. That next morning they took a x-ray of my back the the bone was put back together. I longer need surgery and I could walk. there was still cracks in the bone and swelling, and needed a brace and therapy, but that next year I was cheering again like nothing happened. It will still hurt in cold weather but that is all. Even the doctors could not believe it and say they must have had a bad first couple of sets of x-rays. But I fell I know the truth.

   I have to believe in miracles. Just look at our life. The chances of us even existing are so close to zero it is ridiculous. Our very lives are miracles.

    Wikipedia says that a miracle is:  'a supernatural event attributed to action by a deity, or a miracle worker, saint, or religious leader.' In common parlance, however,  it is often used to mean something highly beneficial yet improbable taking place. I prefer to think of 'supernatural' events as amazing events that we haven't yet explained scientifically. These things taken into account, I would say... yes. I think there are lots of highly improbable, beneficial, scientifically unexplained things going on all over the universe alot of the time. On the flip side, the reverse is probably true too. There has to be balance.

    So lets say you are in a train wreck and everyone dies but 1 person would it not be a real miracle if they all came out without a scratch? Or, is it still a miracle when the one survivor wakes from his 3 month coma?
    
    I mean come on.......
    
    Is it a miracle that a sperm and egg create a zygote and that turns into an embryo? No, its called biological reproduction.

       Its never a miracle for anyone to survive anything - merely a statistical probability based on risk factors involved. Coming back from the dead is impossible, so probability doesn't cover it. If you believe in its occurance, resurection is a miracle.

    There are ordinary miracles like "life," "babies" and "beautiful sunsets."
    
    There are accidental miracles like "surviving a massive car crash," "being hit by lightning and living to tell about it," and "winning the lottery jackpot twice."
    
    And then there are "extraordinary" miracles that are far more than mere coincidence. They cannot be explained by science of today or tomorrow. They transcend physical law.
    
    Explanation:
    
    Science studies the products of God's creation. That creation is built of physical continuity -- space, time, energy, mass, momentum, inertia, and many other states that persist unless acted upon by an external force.
    
    Creation (miracles) exists outside of continuity. They are rooted in a discontinuous realm. What exists one moment may not exist the next if the truth of it is found. What may not exist one moment may suddenly find persistence in the space-time continuum because of "resting" on the creation (what the Buddhists call "allowing").
    
    Ego is the false self which exists as an interface between the catatonic child of God and the physical realm through the biological body. Just like all created and persisting objects, ego is based upon action-reaction continuity. Because of this, ego is vulnerable. Ego can become victim or perpetrator. In fact, ego is built of all possible dichotomies -- directly from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good-evil dichotomy.
    
    Ego is the barrier between our mortal prison and the freedom as a spiritual child of God. Without ego, we can see without human eyes. Without ego, we can create as any child of God can, because we were created in His image and likeness.
    
    Late afternoon, at the height of rush hour, bumper-to-bumper traffic in Los Angeles, and after 6 assaults on my vehicle evoking rage, I realized that I was 100% responsible for those assaults. I saw the truth of it and was immediately set free. The next moment, I asked the Heavenly Father for wide open spaces and smooth sailing all the way to my destination. Instantly, the center lane in front of me started to open up. Within 5 seconds, 2 miles of traffic was cleared out of the way, leaving 2 walls of snarling traffic left and right. It remained open for the next 4 minutes as I traversed that gauntlet.
    
    Forgiveness is an act of creation for it entirely breaks the bonds of resentment. It took me 30 years to realize that the first 6 cars to move out of the way were the same 6 which had assaulted me. I had forgiven their assault that completely.

    Very much. Miracles may happen some day, some week or some year in life. Miracles are fruits of good doings and faith in God. Last miracle in my life was my marriage! :-)

    To the spiritual, miracles are natural and normal. They express God's power-Light, and His wisdom-height. They also, if not accepted properly, keep us in the region of the mind and not in the spiritual heart. Many followed Jesus for that reason, but when they were given an opportunity to free Him, they called for the freedom of Barabas instead.
    A miracle is something which we can't comprehend with the mind, so we call it metaphysical or mystical. Walking on water is a common one. For the saint it is as normal as drinking water. There is a book called Autobiography of a Yogi that explains it well. Check it out.
