Do you write your night time dreams down? Do they reveal hidden truths, or are they precognitive?
I had a series of plane crash dreams around the time my mum became terminally ill, but before we realised that she was actually sick. On some level I knew, and my dreams told me. Recently I was warned by my dreams that a woman I was very friendly with was not all she seemed. If I hadn't recorded or at least contemplated these dreams they might have been wasted.
Honestly, I like writing my dreams down in my journal. Normally, they give me insight to what is bothering me, what I'm focusing on in life, etc. From my personal experience, dreams give me hints to the world around me. They are my unconscious talking to my conscious self. They help me figure out problems.
I can totally relate to that Iburmaster, I have a dream journal but I am careful to note the date of the dream so I cn relate it to life-events. When I read back over my journal there are some drams I can't recall having, so I'm glad I recorded them.
There are five types of dreams.
Read my hub about them and take my poll

I don't write my dreams down no. But I do when I wake look back at the dreams I had while I was sleeping and I try to work out what the dreams meant. I do at times have very bad dreams. For about 3 years now I have been dreaming of a huge Tsunami hitting the coast near where I live. I wake up and I try to connect my heart with that dream to understand what it meant.
And if the dream becomes too much or it leaves me feeling worried I pray and ask god to help me if difficult times do come around.
sorry to hear of your bad dreams. Maybe you could ask in your prayers for the message your heart is trying so hard to tell you. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
I do keep a dream diary and also quickly jot down my first thoughts on waking as they are sometimes the most inspired of my day!
I think that dreams definately reveal your inner thoughts and fears, albeit in a way thats usually really hard to interpret. I think a lot of the time it is our conscious mind's way of highlighted the stuff we should be sorting but dont want to.
By presenting it in the dream, especially if it is recurring it is something we should be dealing with and it will keep sneaking in our unconscious thoughts till we do.
I also think that some people do get precognitive dreams, although that would be special rather than the norm.
Those early morning thoughts can be very insightful can't they, what a good idea to include them in your dream diary, thank you for that Anna.

Why would that be? Is anyone here good at dream interpretation? This has been going on for a couple of years. Some of the dreams are very vivid. The night before last I had one in which a female vampire had injected some kind of pure alcohol into her veins, then crashed through a big round stained...
