That's a powerful answer M.T. Although you say it was the right decision, do you feel that what you've gained was worth the loss?
I want to say that it was worth the loss, but a lot of that depends on whether or not I can be successful as an author. If I can't make a living with the work I've done, it will be harder to justify the choice.
I sincerely wish you the very best in your quest. I've had a chance to peek at some of your work and it seems that you have a real passion for writing. I hope that in your journey you can rejuvenate and mend what's been broken.

Wow! That's a fantastic leap of faith. It seems like you did well and since your son has made the same choice you've made a successful decision. Bravo!
That's truly amazing considering you were only seven. Perhaps you had a bit of a psychic moment as opposed to a gut feeling - maybe even an angel looking out for you. Nevertheless, wise decision and glad you're here.
