Yes.  We are told by Scripture to share our faith and our knowledge of Him and since as a Christian, that is our guide,--it is what we try to do.

One of the important reasons for sharing our faith in Jesus is to confirm for ourselves our present state in the Lord; whether we are still in faith or becoming apostates.

Why would we after recieving such a gift as redemption and eternal life not want to share it?  How could we knowing what the wrath of God will bring on those who do not know and except Him, not want to share the truth to all so that they can experience the joy of knowing Him and escape such wrath? We are to pray for our enimies...love is the key...with out it and showing it to all we come incontact with how can we then be in Christ ourselves?

As the others have said, yes, we are commanded in scripture to share our faith and there is a reason. It is not God's plan for anyone to parish. It is our responsibility to share the gift of salvation before it is too late. We don't have to force it on others, as some claim, but we do have a responsibility to tell them. Then, it is all up to them. We just have to keep praying for them, sharing with them, and leading by example so that they might choose to receive Jesus as Lord of their lives.

There is a difference between sharing and ramming what we believe down people's throats.
Nowadays i think more people like doing the latter and we forget to share our faiths in the right way.
But yes, every faith i think, requires its followers to share what they believe, Christianity is not exempt.

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?"  Romans10:14
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans10:17

Scripture makes it clear why we need to share our faith. We are all headed for eternity, but the question is, on which road are you traveling? Are you on the wide and broad path that leads to destruction? Or are you on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life with the Lord? Everyone deserves the chance to understand the difference and make their own choice! God gives us the gift of salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. It's your choice to either accept or reject the gift.
