Are Muslims celebrating the Immaculate Conception?
I saw in wikipedia about the celebration of this dogma of the Catholic Church that Islam also believe this dogma.
If you are asking do Muslims celebrate the birth of Jesus. The answer is complexed. Some Muslims sects do celebrate the birth of Jesus and some don't.
In some countries Muslim's reject the idea of the immaculate conception. In some nations Muslims protest against Christmas and any mention of Jesus or the immaculate conception.
Meanwhile it is rare but some Muslims do respect and express for love and recognition of Jesus as the Immaculate conception. Some Muslims do celebrate Christmas too. Remember Yasser Arafat the deceased Middle Eastern Leader used to mark the occassion of Christmas by visiting Bethlehem and Jerusalem. to commemorate the Birth of Jesus. I personally do celebrate Christmas and respect and love Jesus as the Spirit Of God whom came to earth to bring all mankind good news.

Why did Jesus have to be born from a virgin? Why couldn't he have a real earthly father. If it...was because he had to be born sinless then what does that make most of us?

Many say that the origins of Easter are pagan and therefore Christians should not celebrate it.I am curious as to how others feel about this and what their opinions are.

There are a gazillion misconceptions floating around the HP clan of Christians about the beliefs and practices of Catholicism. Who told you what you know? What makes you think it's true? Wanna ask questions of someone who practices her faith within the denomination and not get answers from an...
