You are so very correct Kasman. "..just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her" (Ephesians 5:25). Everyone who believes and accepts Christ is in His church. It is a PEOPLE, as you stated, and the woman symbolizes it in the bible.
I have to agree that those who congregate to share God's love and the good news of the Gospel make up the church. It can be anywhere!
kas--- right on

God's church allows people to grow in faith and to learn the practice of discipline taught in scripture. Thank you for your comments.
not so. the is dead and gone. you are mixing things against scripture.
those who are born again and follow Christ are the church nothing more or nothing less. ALL days are Holy not just 1

Yes! The church is NOT the building but the people who come together in common worship. Thanks for your comments.

booonnng wrong answer God's church is the people that belong to Him. period thats it all the PEOPLE that belong to HIM.
It' s necessary for most congregations which conduct business both inside the church and in the community to operate like businesses. This means having officials who handle finances, oversee legal issues, and keep things running smoothly.
cat-- not really see 1 cor 14:26- that they operate as a business makes it a "church of man" not of God
I understand that principle. Unlike most businesses, churches are non-profit and tax-exempt; however, they still must be able to meet the requirements of state and local regulations when meeting to worship and spread the word of God.
cat- you are talking about the businesses (churches of men) , not God;s church. Gods church does not need anything from govt. ,no corp protection, tax exempt etc. we trust in God alone
Yes, celafoe, I am referring to the worldwide churches of organized religion that I feel unvrso is referring to since I was responding to his question. My answer to him is not how I PERSONALLY view "God's church." I've already answered that .
cat-- how anyone personally views it is of no importance the only thing that matter is how God views it. so why bother to stoop to anyones level?
